Each bag contains a lot of tiny pieces of waste wood, not lengths of kindling that you can actually use so a) you get less useable kindling than you expect and b) it makes a big mess trying to get the kindling out of the bag. The useable pieces also vary massively in size with some being so thick I had to split them. I won't be buying these again.

Very dry and dense wood, long-lasting on the fire with good heat. Competitive in that regard with kiln dried logs and more characterful, so good value, all in all. Will repeat buy.

Great value, quick delivery and burns really well

These kindling sticks worked really well for getting the fire going quickly. They light easily and burn well, and the wood feels good quality and properly dried, which makes a noticeable difference when you’re trying to get a fire established. The 6kg bag is a good size and it has lasted us around 8–10 fires, using a sensible amount each time to get things going. Price-wise, it’s pretty much in line with what we’d pay for kindling locally, so it doesn’t feel overpriced. What I really like is the convenience - it’s reassuring to know that if we can’t get out to buy kindling or the local shop has run out, we can order this and still keep the fire running. It's definitely good value for money. Highly recommended.
