LensbabySol 45mm f/3.5 Lens for Cameras

This was a gift for my brother, the camera buff. He requested the Lensbaby Sol 45 with the Nikon mount specifically. I was delighted to find it on Amazon. Unfortunately, the first one I ordered for him had a lens cap that was stuck on. No matter how he tried, it wouldn't turn or come off. A fluke, I'm sure. So back it went, and I ordered another. This one is perfect! He's using it now on an Antarctica cruise, and I can't wait to see his fabulous photos!!!

I love this lens. It's inexpensive yet opens up new creative angles, perspectives, and vibes for your photography. It's a manual focus "tilt" lens, so be sure you know what that means before you buy one, but if you do know the implications of this sort of optic, you will likely be impressed with the results! Adorama Camera (via Amazon) is an excellent seller, by the way.

The lenses arrived in a horeble state with the lens cup sticked deep inside the lens. I had to take it out with a screw driver - package sucks.The mechanics to move the lens feels like a low low cost product.The effect however is Interesting and looks promesing if you know what you are doing.I wish the lens had a better build quality. When using it it feels like a toy

I'm a wedding videographer and I love this lens because it adds variety to my footage.

I love this lens! It's a nice size and lightweight. The effect it produces is beautiful! It has a spot of focus surrounded by lovely blur. And the ability to move that spot of focus by tilting the lens is a great added feature. This is a manual focus lens so be aware of that when you purchase. But with a little practice manually focusing is a lot of fun! I definitely recommend this lens!
