I had a Homer Simpson moment realizing about 5 miles down the road after we left the campsite, taking a left turn on a highway, and looking out my side view mirror to my horror, I see a giant hole on the side of our camper! DOH!! After turning off the main gas and making sure the electric switch was off inside the cabinet, I must’ve forgotten to put the cover back on or if I did, I did not put it on their property. We went back to the campsite and nothing was there and slowly drove to the point where I had noticed it and still nothing. Of course I had lost the lid, but this replacement was the exact fit that I was needing. This replacement comes with the whole mounting flush and the cover. Being a DIYr I took up to the challenge and went ahead and replaced it myself. Only thing I could recommend is make sure you remove all old putty or caulk around the old frame before installing the new one. This can be done with the straight edge blade or a flat screwdriver. Once you have installed the new one when putting in screws, make sure not to over tighten them. Reseal with an RV grade caulk and let dry. This was the exact replacement fit that I needed for a propane water heater on the side of a 2022 Palomino real light.

This product is high quality and fit great. My only feedback would be that the closure pin is made of plastic while everything else on the frame and door are metal.
