I bought this specifically for killing germs because I am a caregiver and accidents happen. All color clothes come out really clean and it works great on stains. I just put a couple tablespoons or so in the bottom of my washing machine with some baking soda to soften the water. It has worked in any temperature.

I use this to make laundry detergent!

I add this to my laundry. I don't know that it makes whiters more white or helps stains come out any better than just my laundry soap, but I do think it helps the laundry smell fresher. It didn't work well as a paste for me to clean tile. I never could get it to a paste consistency, because it is more like little crystals than powder. But I dissolved some in hot water, sprayed on the grout, let it sit for twenty minutes and it whitened the grout pretty good.

I added the product to my washer load of white tee shirts. And was impressed with how well it whitened them. And the bonus is the didn’t have the unpleasant scent of other retail whitening products.

The container is great for laundry.
