10-inch 16K LCD Screen Only Compatible with ELEGOO Saturn 4 Ultra 16K Resin 3D Printer

I bought this ELEGOO 10" 12K Mono LCD to replace a broken screen on my Saturn 4 series resin printer, and once installed the print quality went right back to looking sharp and detailed again. Small details, textured surfaces, and edges all came out clean, especially on the props and cosplay pieces I print regularly. The screen itself works great and exposure consistency has been solid across the build plate. Prints are sticking well again and the overall quality looks like new. The only real downside is that the installation can be a bit of a pain if you have never replaced one before. Taking everything apart, dealing with adhesive, routing the cable correctly, and making sure no dust gets trapped takes time and patience. Definitely watch a few install videos first and work slowly. Once it is installed though, it performs exactly how it should and brought my printer back to life. Overall, a solid replacement LCD if your original screen gets cracked or stops working.

My screen died on the printer so I got a replacement. Not too difficult to change, but I would recommend a heat gun to undo the adhesive under the old screen.

Screen came ready to use would prefer if it came with the screen protector already on it as well but thats more of a QoL request. Changing the screen in the saturn 4 ultra is kind of just a pain needing to disassemble the whole printer but this worked perfectly

Replacement screen nwas very hard to install. Cable is way too short badly designed. Then new screen seems to work fine(exposure tests, lightning tests ECT), but...now my printer can't print anything with the weirdest failure mode ever(pancakes on both the FEP and the Build plate every time, every resin, ever part, every location every slicer, directly adhered to plate or supported by rafts and supports!) Elegoo Customer Support for the printer and screen have been very inefficient and hard to work with and I've basically given up on them solving it beucase they have had me run so many trivial nters in inconvenient orders, and they freduse to answer what the next tests are before having me disassemble the printer to photograph a single number(I'm quite worried bill damage the new screen doing that and that then they'll ask me to run another print test or something, becuase that been how the operate so far(print this messy thing, ok now can you do this thing that requires it cleaned fully ok, now this messy test? Ok now this thing that requires a cleaning, ok now take it apart...I'm concerned next is do messy print after that cable probably gets damaged being reinstalled again!))

Happy these are available on amazon. Last time we tried to get the screen through elegoo directly they wanted to have us answer "why" and "what we use it for" and all kinds of stuff. I just wanted the part and they didnt want my money enough. These guys supplied. Multiple times. Which sounds like the saturn aren't good products but I admit to user error. Saturn is great for statuettes and miniatures.

The screen was perfect, intact and installed perfectly. My only gripe is you do not get replacement protection tape for all the other connecters that have to be removed.

I had to replace my LCD screen today, and I wanted to share some observations. My screen was very difficult to remove. I initially attempted to remove the screen with only the front panel open, but even with a heat gun, I wasn't able to get enough leverage with my fingers to budge the screen. After removing the top of my S3U, I heated the area, but still had to press with enough force; I put on gloves as I was concerned the glass might break. Finally, after some effort, the corner gave way, and the screen lifted free along with most of the adhesive strips. Elegoo provides extra adhesive strips. The widest strip is placed in the front of the screen recess, the medium is for the back, and the thinnest two are placed along each side. Make sure you keep the plastic LCD screen ribbon cover, as a replacement is not provided. I used an Xacto knife and small needle-nose pliers to very carefully cut away the hot glue holding the connectors in place. This worked better than using the nippers shown in the video. It may not be necessary to remove all the glue; you need to create a separation in the hot glue so the plugs will lift free from the sockets. Be mindful of the ribbon cable orientation and make sure the ends are seated correctly. Reassembly go smoother if you mark each cable and connector. I create flags from tape, marking each wire A, B, C, etc. It was some effort, but I am pleased to report that the replacement is complete, the machine powers up, and the exposure test was successful.

This is the 12k lcd replacement used by Elegoo Saturn 3/3 Plus and the earlier 12k Elegoo 4 series. Includes replacement flat cable with quick click connectors and pre-cut replacement sealing tape which helps protect the unit from future accidental resin spills. Perfect fit.

自分で交換してみて気づいた事 1.分解の際、電動工具があると交換にスピードアップできます。ただし組み立ての際は電動工具は使用せず手締めにしなければなりません。強い力で締めるとパーツが割れます。 2.動画の通り行えば問題ありませんでした。 初めての交換でしたが3約時間で交換できました。 3.基盤に差し込む配線テープの接続は慎重に行った方が良いです。試運転時の自己診断機能で交換したLCDにエラーが出てかなり焦りましたが再度接続しなおしたら直りました。 4.古いLCDを外す際、ヘアドライヤーでLCDの縁を温めないと外れませんのでヘアドライヤーを事前に必ず用意すべきです。 5.外したネジは小分けして紛失しないようにしましょう。 6.細かい作業なので老眼の方は拡大メガネを用意しましょう。手元が暗いのでヘッドランプもあると良いです。 7.配線テープをコネクタに接続した後に貼る黒いテープは既存のテープを転用しますから、分解時捨てないでようにしましょう。 8.初めて分解時に外すコネクタにグルーがついています。ピンセットなどで根気よく外しましょう。 9.新しいLCDを本体に固定する両面テープは予備が2枚ずつ梱包されてきますが微妙に幅のサイズが違うので適正な幅のテープを利用しましょう。 他のレビューにも記載されてますが、 工数やネジは非常に多いですが、動画の通りに行えば概ね成功します。 自分で交換できる設計ですので経費削減で 助かりました。 概ね良い製品だと思います。今後も Elegooのプリンタは使用しようと思います。
