Very good
The VEVOR 3-jaw, 25.4 cm lathe chuck has proven to be very useful and sturdy for lathe work. The construction feels solid, and the jaws grip firmly and precisely, allowing you to hold pieces of different sizes without any movement. It’s easy to install and operates smoothly when turning, and the build quality feels reliable. One minor point is that it’s a bit heavy, but that also gives a sense of durability and safety while working. Overall, it’s an excellent tool for anyone who needs precision and reliability in the workshop.

Perfect Roll Out Wheel Chuck
Built my roll out wheel with it. Works great, hold some pretty heavy fittings with no problems. Best priced 10” chuck I could find. Two days of 4” fab on it so far with no issues.

Great for the price.
Great for the price. I disassembled the whole thing, cleaned the gunk out, lubed and reassembled. It holds .001 pretty consistently.

Missing some necessary hardware
Decent quality chuck for the price. I was disappointed that it did not come with a t-wrench for loosening and tightening the chuck. The package also did not include the bolts needed to attach the backing plate to the chuck. Heads up for anyone purchasing this. You will need to buy or make a t-wrench and the metric threaded bolts to attach the backing plate to the chuck as they are not included.

Great 6 jaw chuck for more work and less buck
This fit my jet lathe 1340 very nicely the D1-4 spindle was almost perfect fit I did clean up the chuck and remove a lot of grit and oxide dust but overall I was able to get it balanced to 0.0 01TIR

10" Chuck. Not bad at all..
For the price, I thought I would give it a shot. I needed a lathe chuck in a pinch for some prototyping and reworking some steel parts for a customer. Make sure you take the jaws off completely and debur them. Lots of sharp edges that weren't deburred from the factory. I machined a plate for bolting the chuck to the mill table. I did get a -.005 deviation on one of the jaws. I had to use a shim to keep the parts flat. I will machine the jaws at a later time. I'll be using this for various sized round parts from the customers and for my prototype parts. This will keep me from having to machine custom soft jaws for the 6" kurt vises. One flaw is the gear smoothness. None at all. It's very clunky when opening and closing the jaws. Lile as if it was full of chips in the gear meshings. Hopefully overtime, it will loosen up. I will purchase another once I get another machine in the shop. Can't beat anything for this price!

Rusty Gritty and Burrs
Chuck was rusted badly inside and where jaws slide in body. No lube except where they wiped it off, oiled it, and bagged it. Every machined surface has burrs leftover from machining. VERY tight to turn and gritty, would seize up when adjusting jaws. Even cleaning would not correct due to excessive rust. Would wear extremely fast and uneven. Will return. Jaw height is also different from jaw to jaw.

Great value for money, both in a commercial shop, and for hobby use.
Great value for money. Extremely dirty inside. Many surfaces not deburred. Ground surfaces fit really well.
