These 12 red, blue, yellow and purple balloons each measure about 36 x 28 cm when blown up and are nicely printed with “80th Anniversary VE Day 1945-2025 8th May” together with white pictures of military men. They are reasonably robust enough not only to be blown up to a good size but could also be knotted without bursting.The banner is made up of 9 fairly thin cards each measuring about 11.5 x 16 cm, which can be hung together with the gold tape provided and spell out “VE Day 80th”.They were ideal to enhance our celebration get-together and I think they were reasonably priced too.

A little bit smaller than I expected. Also, the bunting is not pre-made. It is simply a series of individual card flags and a roll of ribbon. So you will have to make the bunting yourself by threading the flags onto the ribbon.

Good size wall bunting with 'VE Day 80TH' cards. The card material is nice and thick and the printing is vibrant and clear. Included is a set of 12 x 16" coloured balloons. The colours supplied are red, blue, purple and yellow. Bit surprised that the colours were not just red, white and blue which would have made more sense, but that withstanding the balloons are a good size and the printing on them is clear. The ribbon supplied for the bunting comes with a plastic needle to make threading the cards on a breeze. We will be using the set in and on our village marque for the VE day celebrations they will add a nice splash of colour.

I am celebrating VE Day at home and wanted to mark the occasion. I will be visiting the war memorial (I walk past it every day with the dogs).I saw these, and as I have windows either side of the front door, I will be using them on it, stuck on with white tack, as I wanted to be able to keep these decorations for years to come.The VE DAY banner is only printed on one side. It is made of cardboard, so it wouldn't be good in rainy conditions. It comes with thread to hang it up with that will have to be put together. As I am going to be sticking these up on the windows, I won't need to thread the banner. Complete decoration kit with 12 x balloons and a banner to display.Then balloons are a strong material which I was able to blow up full size and also had enough room to double knot them, they have been blown up for 3 days now with no sign of deflation yet.The banner is made of a sturdy cardboard material with punched holes already there for you to slot the ribbon through to complete your banner. Each letter is a separate piece but they arrive and are stacked in order of the sequence of the words.Also included is a plastic darning style needle for you to thread the letters in the ribbon.

Made the bar look really good for our day remembering those that mattered most.
