Well made and weighty speaker. Easy connection to devices. Good battery life but doesn't have the oomph i was expecting based on the marketing. Nice and convenient to use camping etc, but the sound wouldn't replace even a low end hi-fi set up. **UPDATE** We've had the speaker for a few months now and have improved the sound by using the Sony app instead of the ULT button to access the graphic equaliser settings....... sounds much better.

Brilliant sound as you’d expect from Sony. Great quality, bit weighty although expected for something of this size, carrying strap supplied takes care of that though.

This speaker is a beast. Definitely recommend if you like music genres like reggae. Bass is really deep, rich and heavy. App is really good although the custom mode is not as good as the other modes 1&2 for me. I like the DJ feature as you have some sound effects that add a bit of fun to your experience. Quality looking speaker, that you would expect from a brand like Sony. Overall I would definitely recommend this speaker, especially if you like “bass”.

Great bass boosted sound only negative is the battery doesn't seem to last too long

Really impressed with the build quality and sound. I have an ULT 7 but wanted something a bit more portable. The sound quality is exceptional with good separation and clarity. Punches above its weight for bass quality. Only negativities I haven’t managed to pair it with the ULT 7 but that’s not too much of an issue. Would completely recommend this exceeds expectations and I’ve found it suitable for small performance venues as packs plenty of Power.

The Sony ULT FIELD 5 is one of the best speakers on the market. I own one, and its clear, clean sound with detailed performance rivals many studio speakers I’ve tested. You’ll love its open sound—few competitors come close. It’s my personal favourite, and I’m confident you’ll like it too.

Works beautifully with my non-Bluetooth Yamaha keyboard (PSR-E383) which has fairly puny 2 x 2.5W speakers, thanks to the 3.5mm audio in jack. Keyboard sounds nice 'n' butch now with enough oomph for busking. Agree with Mr FF. Whose bright idea was it to generate a very loud clanging sound when changing between the ULT settings?? Hideous and unnecessary racket 😡. Excellent speaker. Totally pleased.

This is a very handy little portable, battery powered speaker that is great when you want to play music in a remote spot. You can connect to it, both through bluetooth and a 3.5mm jack.

Acquistata per sostituire la mia vecchia JBL Xtreme 1 ormai cimita. In foto c'è una comparazione di dimensioni. Essendo rettangolare sta bene bene in piedi. Comodo lo strap per portarla in giro e ottima la ricarica tramite l'usb c. In termini di suono l'equalizzazione di default e le due modalità ULT non mi hanno soddisfatto in termini di qualità, ho impostato la mia personalizzata e sia i bassi che gli alti sono migliorati notevolmente. I bassi si sentono e sono ben definiti. Gli alti leggermente di meno ma per questa fascia di prezzo ci sta. Una buona equalizzazione migliora NOTEVOLMENTE l'audio (nelle immagini allegate il mio eq). Se premete per sbaglio il tasto ULT cambia tra le due modalità e l'eq di default, va quindi rimesso a mano quello personalizzato dall'app. Da quest'ultima si possono anche rimuovere i suoni di notifica (tipo quando si accende/spegne) che è una cosa che ho gradito, anche se il suono di quando si collega al bluetooth rimane. In generale consiglio se si trova a buon prezzo (l'attuale 189€ direi che è un ottimo prezzo).

J'ai commandé ce produit une première fois, mais je n'avais jamais eu l'occasion de le tester à un volume plus élevé qu'à bas niveau, en raison de l'isolation sonore de mon appartement. Je l'ai donc re-commandé une seconde fois, ce qui m'a permis de tester le son à un volume plus élevé. Et, clairement, pour son prix et sa qualité sonore, ainsi que ses basses présentes et bien équilibrées, j'ai décidé de le conserver comme enceinte portable et d'intérieur. De plus, son jeu de lumière constitue un atout supplémentaire, ce qui renforce mon appréciation pour ce produit.

Al recibir el paquete con el altavoz ya se puede comprobar su robustez el paquete pesa lo suyo una vez probado se puede ver su potencia para lo pequeño que es, su diseño es sólido y el sonido te sorprende desde el primer momento de puesta en funcionamiento. La calidad del sonido es muy bueno a mi entender , creo que ofrece unos bajos fuertes y resonantes a través de sus modos ULT. La portabilidad por su tamaño y peso a lo mejor no es su punto fuerte pero las correas ofrecen una solución y están bien diseñadas pero no se puede pedir todo potencia y poco peso. La resistencia al agua y polvo (IP67) es un puntazo para su portabilidad en exteriores(playa, arena, campo) sin tener que preocuparse de polvo y salpicaduras. Destacar también las 25 horas de la batería puedes estar todo un día sin preocuparte de la carga y puedes tener sesiones de música largos. El emparejamiento bluetooch entre el altavoz y el dispositivo elegido (smartphone) es rápido, sencillo e inmediato. En definitiva la calidad de construcción del altavoz y su rendimiento son excelentes lo recomendaría
