Mit vorherigem schütteln hatte ich nicht viel erreicht, da man im trockenen Zustand gar kein Gefühl hat, wo sich der Inhalt befindet. So war es, wie auf dem Bild zu sehen, zunächst alles auf einer Seite und man muss erst mal raus finden, wie man es am besten verteilt. Mit den Händen schwierig. Ich habe dann einfach eine Dose verwendet und diese über die Kammern gerollt. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist optimal. Die Weste muss vor der Nutzung in Wasser eingelegt werden. Das in die Weste eingearbeitete Granulat nimmt das Wasser auf und gibt es nach und nach ab, ohne dass die Kleidung übermäßig nass wird. Die Verdunstungskälte sorgt für eine angenehme Kühle, die an heißen Tagen sehr willkommen ist. Ein kleiner Nachteil ist, dass die Weste durch das aufgezogene Wasser an Gewicht zunimmt. Dies lässt sich jedoch durch die Dauer der Einweichzeit gut steuern. Die Reinigung der Weste ist etwas knifflig. In den Sommermonaten nutze ich die Weste regelmäßig und sie hat bei mir eine durchschnittliche Haltbarkeit von 1-2 Jahren.
