Very clear instructions well built
Follow the instructions they are very clearly written and broken down step by step. Works excellent I went ten years doing landscaping work lifting that gate up and down killing my back. Now two fingers and it's full up and ready to be locked. Let it go and it slowly goes to the ground hands free.

Nice product, poor instructions
This is a nice unit that works fine considering that it only pulls on one side. The instructions are incomplete, but fortunately I installed a similar unit on another trailer and had an idea of what to do.

Easy gate lifting.
Makes easier to close my trailer gate.My gate was kinda heavy because I order it reinforced and when lifting you had to fight with it or have another person to help you with it but now I can do it by myself with not a lot of effort.

Do not buy this spring! Buy from others!
It is NOT rattle free! Very noisy & annoying. There are no diagrams with the lame instructions. You just have to follow blindly... Drill a hole here and there! If your configuration varies even slightly, they give you no general information for you to "engineer" your own variations. ALSO, when you decide to just return it... they charge you heavily! You'll pay for shipping AND a steep RESTOCKING fee. It also looks very, very out of place on your trailer where everything is black and likely square or rectangle!

Great Product
We have a Big Tex 16' trailer, after beefing up the gate for loading heavy SxSs the gate was a challenge to raise after loading . This EZ Gate relieves more than 3/4 or more of the lift weight required to raise the gate. Also, Instructions were spot ton and mounted great on our round rails.. Highly recommend..
