Probably not.. as it has little fingers and beveled edges to hold debris and moisture in - so you chair may not roll on the mat. Good luck

Q: Can i use this under my snowblower after use to capture the melting snow?

Yes, but if there is too much snow, the snow could melt and run off the sides and still make a mess. I would suggest brushing off as much snow as you can. Or you could put something under the sides to build it up and form a bowl shape. It's a great sturdy mat.

Q: are dogs ok with walking on the pointed surface?

I have two "healthy" cats and two chihuahuas, All have no issues walking across it and I'm glad because it actually cleans a lot off their feet. One of my cats doesn't like it too much, and tries to jump it when she can. The surface isn't really pointed, but has more of a rounded point.
