It's a good product. I had doubts about the passenger side view as it fixes in an area that's almost covered by the front passenger door. But it was not a big issue. I'm 5' 9" and I can see about 50%~60% easily when I sit in a normal seating position leaning backwards. When I move my torso forward (i.e. reversing), I can see 80%~90% of the mirrors which covers almost the entire view. So, yes it's a good design! (My car is Skoda Octavia 2016 L&K). When the mirrors retract, these don't come in contact with the body (stick them carefully on the outer lower sides without covering the welcome lights below the car mirrors) . The quality of the product also feels good and solid. I am attaching two images of how I see the passenger side mirrors in both positions I mentioned.
