My daughter is 8 and wears 13. We bought the US junior 11-1. They fit great and has plenty of room for growth without being loose.

The age rang of size 8-11 is generally 3 to 6 years old. (Example: My 3 year old son wears an 8. My 6 year old daughter currently wears a 12)

they give you a chart and the finis and the cressis are the best. Amazon is great about returns so you can always return and get another size - i use these exclusively for all the swim team kids and for lessons

The largest size in these would be to small for your son. I bought the 8-11 ones for my granddaughter last year and they are snug on her. I would suggest us divers ones as they run in bigger sizes
