Nordic Ware Bacon Rack with Lid, 10.25x8x2 Inches

Finally found the easiest and food safe material for my yummy bacon. Great quality, very easy to clean, and sturdy for microwave. This is the perfect size and the easiest way to make bacon without a mess.

I was skeptical to say the least but figured for the price I would give it a whirl. First day, tried sausage patties. Adjust time to 90 secs, worked like a charm . Sausage was excellent and greased drained off perfectly. Second try, Thick Cut bacon, excellent though I like my bacon a little "bendy" as opposed to crisp, so cut time down to 110 secs. PERFECT! Loved the way the grease was separated from the meat and found that draining it off before cleaning could be improved with a bit of a spout on one end or the other but worked. Cleaned up beautifully, wipe with paper towel and bit of soapy water, done deal. Love it! Cuts breakfast time by a lot!

One of the best products I have ever purchased! Just love this beautiful durable plate. You can use it for more than cooking Bacon! I just did a Vidalia Onion Burger on it and it fit nicely in the Microwave and was easy to use. My burger came out great! It was a breeze to clean and storage in my very small storage area was perfect!

Five Stars but Amazon would only allow 4. This is a well made little bacon tray. It is a smaller size, but our microwave is smaller so this is perfect. It holds up to 5 slices, cooks evenly, the bacon came out crispy and delicious, and clean up is a breeze. The cover keeps the grease from splattering inside the oven and is more efficient than paper towels.

I’ve only recently started microwaving my bagel. I use a microwave safe plate with paper towels under and over the bacon. The results have been very good. The bacon comes out crispy. I decided I could get better results with a microwave bacon cooker so bought this Nordic ware one. The results have not been great. I first used the auto cook feature on my microwave. That is how I have been cooking it, but the bacon was undercooked. Next time I did 4 slices with a minute on high power for 4 minutes. The bacon was very tough, but was cooked. Next time I will try cooking what is left over of this package using skillet and cooktop. If it is still unsatisfactory results I will try another brand of bacon. As for clean up, I was able to scrub it clean. Not too hard if the surface was uniformly smooth, but it isn’t. There are several areas where the molding of the surface was not smooth. These areas get bacon in them and I used a stiff brush to clean them. I’ve included photo of one of these areas. I will post update if the brand of bacon makes a difference, but it really shouldn’t.

Makes the perfect bacon. Not too crispy/hard and not soft. Makes making bacon super easy and easy to clean up!

This is by far the best way to cook bacon quickly. It holds the grease, makes it CRISPY! Leave it on the counter for the grease/fat to dry up then scoop with paper towels and throw it in the trash.

works perfectly 3 min bacon rashers ( microwave) the previous unit I got melted through in a 3 min use well made and worth the investment

Eu adorei este excelente produto. Muito bonito e de qualidade. Cumpre perfeitamente sua função no preparo de tiras de bacon e bifes em microondas. O relevo canelado permite escoar o excesso de líquido e gordura. Assim o alimento fica mais crocante e com textura mais apetitosa. Recomendo. Também gostei de usar esta bandeja para descongelamento de carnes. Consigo descongelar até 1kg de frango. Ou cinco coxas grandes. 🍗 Recomendo.

Excelente calidad del Plástico. Las tiras de Tocino no se pegan. No se ensucia el Microondas.
