Sleek, handy - great watch for the price
Ok, first to get the caveats out of the way. As others have said, the glow is not nearly as bright as in the picture. Being a firearms aficionado, I've had some experience with tritium in gun sights, so I understand it's limitations somewhat. I suppose there may indeed be brighter watches out there, but do you really NEED them that bright? For me, I have no trouble seeing the markers in any light (or lack thereof). It should be noted, the second hand and the dot on the bezel are NOT tritium, but standard glow-in-the-dark paint. It serves well enough though, it charges quickly and glows quite brightly. Also, it may have just been my watch, but the color of the case and band was not silver as in the pic, but a dark matte gray with white markings on the bezel. Actually reading the watch itself, it seems to have a TITANIUM case and band! So on one hand, I guess the seller was "inaccurate" but I'm happy as a lark because I think it worked out well enough on my end!My previous watch was a Fossil, and it had to be taken to a jeweler to access the battery compartment. Same with this one, but also with the S&W a jeweler is recommended to adjust the links in the band too.I haven't put the watch through much abuse, but it has been knocked around a bit in day-to-day activities and so far it still looks as sharp as the day I got it. I'm not much of a swimmer, and I don't even wear it in the shower, so I can't comment on the water resistance.Overall, very happy with my purchase!

Simple but stylish
This watch is pretty nice. It holds the time well, only about 10 seconds of deviation after a month and a half. (Although how much you jostle it can change that metric.) It has a good heft to it. It’s relatively comfortable, I hardly notice it after sizing it. Most people will need to size this one down, pulling some pins and loops. Gym bros with massive forearms will probably need more length than this watch provides, but other than that it will fit most people. The watch is accurate, I like synchronizing it with time.gov and watch the watch and computer tick in unison.

Only 6 tritium markers. Not on every hour like the photo
I was fooled by the photos and other reviews. For some reason they changed the models to have less tritium. Instead of all tritium on each hour like the photos above... There's only tritium on the 12,9,6,3 hours and hour and minute hands like the description but the photos show all around tritium. The rest are luminous hands. The Lume on the other hours is okay. I bought this to look dressier when in a suit for security but also have that ability to see time in a dark area and have that rugged ability of a field watch with a 200m water resistance which is impressive. I just feel that they could add more tritium for the price. I did actually call Campco which is the distributor of these watches and they said there was a law or statute that prohibited them from having more tritium? I have a bertucci vintage and marathon that has full tritium so I have no idea what's going on. Long story short...tritium is bright, watch comes pretty big so links needed to come out, which is good for larger handed people. Screw down crown and 200m water resistance is awesome. Someone complimented on it and seen this watch and asked how I liked my Omega so that's pretty cool. Good entry level watch for tritium first timers.

Great H3 Tritium lume...
purchased this watch for the tritium vials, to add on a seiko watch ive had. im not a jeweler but work in electronics including micro electronics so i have the tools and ability to change out dials, hands movements etc... after receiving the smith and wesson watch i was quite surprised how bright the vials were in compaired to my traser commander which is only about 3 years old. the smith and wesson was substantionally brighter. the traser was ok to see in dim light and easy in darkness, but i hadnt realized how dim they were in comparison. with a half life of the isotope at 11.5 years, meaning the glow will be half as bright at the time of original manufacture of the radioactive isotope. either i received a bad traser or the smith and wesson has more active isotope. its possible the vials only remain this brightness (as in the smith and wesson) for a much shorter period. for my records i am taking a low light picture and write down all the camera parameter settings and retake a picture of the watch in a couple of years to compare. even though the vials including the indice ring, hour and minuete hand from the smith and wesson are now on my seiko divers watch and the second hand from the broken traser also on the seiko, this is the only way to purchase this h3 isotope as it is heavily regulated and was the most inexpensive way to purchase it on this watch. completed happy with sacrificing the smith and wesson for the vials and and very pleased with the professional results. ive read other reviews where the smith and wesson was to a degree less brighter than the superior swiss made traser, but not in my case. inside the smith and wesson consist of a one jewel ronda movement assembled in thailand from swiss made parts. the stainless steel case back was stamped in china as was the case. all tritium h3 vials are made via the swiss company MB-MICROTEC and calls them trigalight "gtls" (gaseous tritium light sources) so you can be assured this watch contains the same vials as the high end marathons and trasers and others. maybe the technology has acheived a better standard since my traser purchase in 2009 maybe they just use more glass coating phosphors for the isotope to react to, but either way, this watch contains some pretty bright gtls. *as a caution note for those that have not experienced gtls watches, they are not as bright as a good quality watch using standard lume (phosphorescence)initially, but those luminous pigments dont last long, even the best ones with the thickess coatings, not even the strontium aluminate can achieve the longgevity of h3 tritium. which in essence should still be glowing to the naked eye in over 20 years.so any advice would be to see how it works from a friend that may have a watch or dealer first before adding a comment in a review somewhere that they didnt light up the room for you. the watch itself is pretty good, but mine had a slight smokey film on the inside of the glass itself. the rotating bezel was crisp with 60 detents and excellent knurling to grip for rotation. the bezel 60 marker is of standard lume, as is the second hand. the stainless steel watch band is very good and has positive locking mechanism. here is a link that gives a good represintation of approx brightness levels... google- traser watch or mb-microtec.

Watch died in about two years: jeweler says the mechanism is DOA. Now it is just an expensive paper weight. AVOID this one!
Let's start with the negatives. Hmm ... I can't think of any. As for positives, there are many. First, this watch glows wonderfully, and is easy to read at night. (I keep it on my nightstand by my bed, and it makes a better "clock" than anything I've ever owned. The finish is perfect, it keeps accurate time, and it looks fantastic on my wrist. I wavered between this watch and the Luminox (which a friend at work has) and I am very very pleased with my choice: this watch is dressier and much nicer looking. IT IS A CLASSIC!
