I needed one of these for a Logi USB-A receiver on an M4 Mac mini which only has USB-C ports since the receiver did not work well on a USB-A to USB-C 4-port hub that I have. The flash drives would cause mouse and keystroke drop outs which drove me nuts. This little adapter sits alone on one of the Mac mini front ports and works perfectly to isolate that interference. They're made of aluminum and can't get much shorter. They're super cheap and come in a bag of 4. Don't bother looking elsewhere for this adapter for this use case.
