He started eating again, stopped hiding, became affectionate, and was acting like himself again. The only issue left was the peeing outside the litter box, which took about a full week to completely stop. Since he wasn’t eating much at first, I gave him wet food mixed with fresh water to help keep him hydrated while he was on the medicine. I also put the drops on treats, and he had no problem taking them that way. It’s now been a week, and he’s doing so much better. Because the shelf life is so long the FDA does not require us to list the expiration date, and because the packaging is so small we did use the space for more pertinent information about the product. HomeoPet UTI+ was first introduced into the market in July 2013 and has quickly become a strong seller. On the off chance that you have a bottle from the first batch it will not expire until 2027 - anything newer would of course be valid longer. **Q: Can this be taken with antibiotics? My kitty is miserable and has a very bad infection. Vet gave meds but hoping this will speed up healing.** A: You can use it with the antibiotic therapy but homeopathy does work better by itself. Maybe once you are done with the antibiotics then start the Homeopet item. Also the diet and type of water used will influence the results now and especially long term.
