Best TV on the market!
If youโre looking to upgrade your home setup, the Hisense 75" Class U8 Mini-LED ULED 4K UHD Google Smart TV (75U8QG, 2025 Model) absolutely delivers. The picture quality is next-level, colors are vibrant, blacks are deep, and everything just feels incredibly sharp whether youโre watching sports, movies, or streaming shows with the family. What really surprised us is the sound. The built-in 4.1.2 channel audio with Dolby Atmos creates a full, immersive experience without needing to immediately invest in a soundbar. It fills the room in a way most TVs just donโt. With features like Mini-LED backlighting, QLED color, a super smooth 165Hz refresh rate (perfect for gaming), and support for Dolby Vision IQ and HDR10+, this TV checks every box. Itโs fast, responsive, and the Google TV interface makes it easy for everyone in the house to jump into their favorite content. We genuinely love this TV, itโs become the centerpiece of our home and makes everything we watch feel like an experience.

Hisense keeps surprising me
I have been a TV nerd for a while, owned flagship models from, Vizio, LG, Samsung, Sony. This is my 2nd time buying hisense, as I was very happy with my U8N. Dare I say I am impressed again. Performance is upgraded, software is more refined, no annoying bugs so far. Gsync works great, CEC switches inputs like magic without hiccups. Not much to ask so far but you would be surprised how many manufactures don't get the simple things right. The one I received has a perfect panel, 0 defects, no dead pixel, no uneven backlighting, screen looks uniform. I don't think you would be disappointed by the picture quality either, deep contrast vibrant colors, and it can get eye searingly bright. After having 5 different WOLEDs I learned my lesson not to buy another, they are fragile I keep getting dead pixels everywhere. with this mini LED TV you never have to worry about burn it , watch it or leave it on in the background to your hearts content. Connectivity wise, you get 3x HDMI 2.1 this year, if you have a more recent modern AV receiver, you could use the EARC port as a switch. If you use a PC, it even has a USB-C input that can take video signal 4K 165 HZ. I know! no one else does this. Got my on sale for 1k, a bit more expensive while on sale than last years model but I still think it's worth it.

I am a Hisense believer now!
Super clear picture and sound is better than my Samsung was, so no additional sound equipment. So one month later and I have not mastered settings but will soon sit down on you tube to set everything. Mean time a really bright colorful screen and software seems to be really good, Remote cast works remarkably better than my old Samsung also. So far I am satisfied for the money this seems like the best deal for a tv in 55-65 range. UPDATE" - After a few months it seems ok but Amazon prime software seems bad and I have to use firestick to watch Prime. There is no uninstall just update but still no go, reset tv and nothing worked. Not sure but power off router and tv for ten minutes and nothing. Anyway everything else is really good so I am happy.

Picture quality is great, sound is exceptional and set up is easy.
Great TV for a great price. Never ordered a TV from Amazon before so I was surprised when it arrived and working. Picture quality is great, sound is exceptional and set up is easy. Google does it right and Hisense seems to as well. Went from Samsung to this and I am happy with the switch. Oh and the remote is great and high quality.

Great TV at a great price
This is my 2nd Hisense tv. I had the U7 and decided to get a bigger and got the 65โ U8. The speaker placement on this style is awesome, we donโt need a soundbar. The picture after tweaking it to our lighting led is amazing. Just as great as a much higher priced tv. I like Ikeโs up on YouTube how to get the best quality picture. I have it mounted on our wall and with two people it was a breeze. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a great tv at a fraction of the cost of the more expensive brands.

Bright, Smooth Picture That Looks Great for Movies and Gaming
This Hisense U8 has been really nice so far, and it feels like a big upgrade if you care about picture quality. The first thing I noticed was how bright the screen gets. It looks great during the day, even with some light coming into the room, and I did not feel like I had to close every curtain just to see the picture clearly. Colors look really rich without looking too fake, and sports, movies, and games all look sharp. I watched a few darker shows on it too, and the black levels are much better than I expected. It does not have that washed out gray look that some TVs get in dark scenes. The 165Hz panel is a nice bonus, especially if you game. Motion looks smooth, and fast scenes do not feel blurry or messy. I tried it with streaming, regular TV, and gaming, and everything felt quick and clean. The menus are easy enough to get around, and setup was pretty simple. I also like that it has a clean looking stand and does not look cheap sitting on a TV stand. Sound is decent for built in TV speakers, but if you want that full movie sound, you will probably still want a soundbar. Also, like most modern TVs, there are a lot of picture settings, so it may take a little playing around to get it looking exactly how you like. Overall, I am really happy with it. The picture is bright, clear, colorful, and smooth, and it feels like a TV that works well for pretty much everything. Movies look great, sports look great, and gaming feels responsive. The small downsides are pretty normal ones, like reflections in a really bright room and the built in sound not replacing a good speaker setup. For the picture quality and features, this is a really solid TV.

A Tip About the Stand Assembly
The 65U8QG is a great TV, especially for the price. No need to repeat what others are saying about the great picture, but I did want to comment about the base assembly. The quick setup instructions have step by step illustrations to show what to do, but I didn't find them to be very clear until I understood how it was assembled. The stand consists of a heavy metal base and a TV mount that attaches to it. The back side of the mount must be removed to screw in four screws from above. The base is threaded to accept the screws. The back side of the mount doesn't appear to be removeable, but it is actually snapped into place along the top and must be pried open. Once that is done two more screws are located inside the base which are used on the back of the TV to locate it onto the stand. Once you know that the mount has a removable back cover, the instructions are easy to understand. At least that was how it went for me. Hopefully this will help you!

Hisense Surprised Me
I haven't purchased a TV in a long time, so I had to research everything... smart TVs, current technology, best screen size for my space. And all of my research led to this Hisense 65" Mini-LED. I usually go for high-end brands with electronics and more expensive purchases. I have been ignoring the Hisense brand for months while I've been thinking about getting a new TV. If you have doubts about Hisense, hear me out. My priorities were: - TV with built-in Google Home - the best technology for viewing in bright light My TV habits are: - streaming TV movies or series - not the dark room, cinematic experience - viewing from centered sofa - viewing from kitchen island (sharp viewing angle) There are only a few TV brands with Google Home built in. So my requirements led me over and over to those 3 brands, one of which was Hisense. I was not really open to this brand at first. However, my living room gets a lot of natural light, and I usually watch TV during daylight hours, so I needed a bright screen that can compete with the bright room. I learned that Mini-LED is the best for my lighting conditions. The Hisense U8 checked this box as well. So with those things in mind and the positive reviews, I decided to take a chance on this TV. First of all, U8 looks beautiful even when it's off. The TV is not dark, shiny, "plasticky" black. It's more of a matte black that almost looks deep gray. Also, in the photos, I didn't love the centered stand. I thought it looked chunky, and I prefer the cleaner look of "feet" on each end vs a single pedestal in the center. I almost bought a different TV *just* because of the stand. I'm so glad I didn't because in person, the stand looks GREAT. Setup was fast and simple. I had everything complete in under 15 minutes. Functionally, it's very intuitive to navigate apps via the included remote, which also supports voice input. Settings are easy to configure. I experimented with the Picture settings to match my preferences. This TV is truly bright, even in my bright room. But the colors look realistic, not oversaturated or cartoonish. The sound quality is excellent even without a sound bar or external speakers. I was able to easily connect this TV to my network, my Google account, and quickly paired my Bose headphones via Bluetooth. The only thing I didn't like was the protective tape around the edges of the screen. At each corner, if you're not careful during removal, the tape tears so that some of it is left in the groove between the bezel and the screen. It is impossible to get it out of the groove once it tears. I appreciate the solid packaging, but once it tears you are stuck with a small piece of tape sticking out of your beautiful TV. Other than that, I couldn't be happier and hope this helps someone else trust a brand you may not have considered before.
