Work within its limitations, good quality for the price.
Understanding from previous reviews I knew that this would run small. I am 5'9", weigh 225lbs and currently wear XXL, so that is what I ordered (XXL) as it is the largest they currently offer. This is my first Armor purchase, the quality seems good to me, as others have mentioned the small plastic zippers are a concern with reliability and if you are large enough to put pressure on the zipper as you move around. Since I watch Everide ( a video blogger ) on YouTube, I knew that putting the armor on and taking it off requires some patience and technique to avoid damage to the netting. The fit was very snug, but livable. I zipped up the front chest plate and could see a lot of stress on the front zipper. I pulled my arms inward to put see how much maneuverability I had in the arms and back. One of the zippers let loose in the back and pulled apart along the whole zipper. I do not see this necessarily as the armors fault, as I am pushing the limit on the sizing. My solution is to use the armor without zipping the back zippers. and will add a little length to the straps that buckle the plates together. I will also be adding extra length to the waist straps that run on the lower part of the armor between the back plate and chest plates. Yes, I am having to modify it slightly, but it is because of my body size and shape. If the front zipper fails, I will simply glue straps and buckles to the chest plates and continue to use the armor. I know I need to lose some weight and wearing this armor will remind me of that fact, so dropping some weight will help with the fitment. I am a pretty safe and laid back rider, so I do not have any crash protection feedback. I am giving it 5 stars for price, quality and that it got here 4 days earlier than expected.

Cheap but functional 90% awesome just skimpy in a few areas
I have 8000 miles and a dozen dumps and a 40mph slide into this gear the sizes run small i wear a large t shirt and this in xl is little snug still be forwarned youre going to want to wear a shirt or something over this as it offers little to no protection for the bottom of your arms i have scars to prove it but without this gear id have many more i find it more comfortable with an iv2 collar clipped through the front shoulder pads and tied with str8g to the back plate ps the kidney belt velcro sucks and so do the zippers on the back plate needs under forarm protection larger elbow pads sturdier straps and its a great piece of gear

ORDER BIGGER!
This is great armor for a motorcycle. It's decently made, fits well, and I'm pretty sure it'll protect you once in a crash (although I have no desire to field test this). Judging by a friend hitting me with a baseball bat, it works really well. However, ORDER THE LARGEST SIZE YOU CAN. I'm a medium, and saw people suggest ordering a larger size, so I got a large. It was so small I couldn't fit my arms into the forearm pads and had to cut them off. The rest is tight, but I feel like that means it won't just pull to the side in a crash, so I'm okay with that. Aside from the fact that I'm convinced this was made for smurfs, it's an amazing bang for your buck. TL;DR Pretty good product, especially for the price. Order AT LEAST two sizes bigger than your typical size.

Nearly perfect product...The price makes it a perfect buy.
I am just getting into dirt bike riding and was looking for quality gear at entry level prices. This fits the bill perfectly. Cons: Order larger than you think you need. I normally wear a Large and this X-Large is ALMOST too tight with a base layer underneath of it. A logo plate that covers an articulation point on the back fell off. The structure of the articulation point was in tact and functional. I just glued the piece back on. Pros: The spine protection is wide and the armor allows comfortable movement bending forward. More importantly to me is the resistance it provides to bending backwards. It is probably significant enough to reduce injury in the event of a "scorpion" type crash landing. (If you don't know what a "scorpion" is, Youtube it. It'll make you cringe) The rest of the armor is well placed and comfortable. The sewing of the mesh and zippers seems to be of good quality with no loose threads. There are a few places to adjust the armor that work fine. The elbow pads are deep cups designed to keep impact forces off the tip of the elbow. The plastic may be an inch or more away from the boney process of the elbow. It is comfortable to wear. It looks cool. I may buy another for a Burning Man costume, after all, the price is right! Over all, I am very happy with the product and the very timely manner it was delivered. I would, and may, buy this product again.
