Best bang for buck bt speaker with some really neat extra features
I wanted a bluetooth speaker to use in my workshop so I can listen to some music while I work, and since it can get kind of noisy when I'm using some equipment/tools I needed something that can get loud enough. Well let me just say that this guy definitely gets loud! The sound profile is definitely tilted towards bass heavy but doesn't distort or overwhelm the mids/highs either. Don't expect studio reference quality audio, it's tuned for fun punchy bass good for rock/metal/r&b/action movies/etc. If I had a potential complaint involving the audio it would be that even on the lowest volume it's quite loud, with volume adjustment steps being rather coarse. I want my music loud anyway so not a problem, but I can see cases where this might be a bad thing if you just want to listen to relaxing stuff in a quiet small room without disturbing your neighbors. When it arrived it was actually a bit larger than I thought based off the pictures on the product page but for me that doesn't matter too much as it's just gonna sit on a table and doesn't need to be transported or anything like that. As for build quality this thing is built like a tank. The construction is made of plastic and metal both of which are nice and thick/heavy. The passive radiators on the sides are mounted to strong rubber so I'm not really worried of them getting damaged in normal use. The speakers themselves are mounted behind a metal grill so that's also good. The buttons on top have distinctive shapes you can easily use without looking at them, with a satisfying clickiness. Controls are logical if you've ever used a similar speaker. The bottom has nice rubber feet to prevent any movement when it's belting out strong bass. The back ports are covered with a rubber flap that seals them from any liquid (the unit is apparently ip waterproof rated). Not sure if I'd ever use this in a wet environment but it's never a bad thing to know it'd stand a good chance of surviving and dunk in water. USB C is used for charging which was pretty quick, fully charging in about two hours. Battery life is good enough for me to use for a few hours a day for a week without hitting the low battery warning. Now that's with the rgb led's off, but apparently even with then enabled you can still expect on the order of 10 hours or so. There are a few light effect modes that'll change color and flash along with the music, which I guess is a neat party trick but not something I will often use. The downside I've noticed is if you set a specific color mode the speaker won't remember it if you power off and on again. Not a big deal for me but may be annoying if you use the lighting feature a lot which will require a few extra button presses to get to the setting you want. One feature I really like is the right speaker led will momentarily light up when adjusting volume to show you the level. Such a simple feature but useful. Bluetooth connection is solid with the few tablets and phones I've tested with. I really like that it has an auxiliary audio input jack to plug in older non-bluetooth devices. I've plugged in some high-end minidisc portables and they sound absolutely fantastic. Also has a micro-sd card slot that can play mp3s directly off a memory card, will probably never use that feature but cool that I can if I ever wanted to. So do I think it's worth the asking price? Well comparing with similarly sized and performing portable bluetooth speakers like jbl makes this guy is significantly cheaper, like half the price or less. Sure maybe other big brand name speakers sound richer or have more advanced features like apps to adjust more settings but I really just need a tough but loud speaker with good battery life that'll take some abuse but keep on ticking. So far this one ticks those boxes for me without breaking my wallet.

Little Powerhouse!
Size & build- It’s really small (2.5”x1.75”x1”) but you can feel the solid build. The retaining clip is very strong so it’s definitely not falling off whatever you clip it to. The material is nonslip so it’s not likely to slip from your grip. The speaker itself has a metal cover providing better protection over a standard plastic cover. Audio Quality- For such a little speaker, its audio quality is more than impressive. I tested it connected it to my phone and played some tunes and was highly impressed with such a rich deep sound, not tinny for sure. During phone calls, the callers voice was clear and crisp and they could hear me just as clear. Side note, my phone was in the house and I was outside with the speakers clipped to my shirt. I also BT connected it to my HAM radio so I could move around the house monitoring radio transmissions without blasting the volume of the radio. I could understand every transmission/conversation easily without bothering other members of the house. Controls- This is a tiny speaker comparatively so the buttons are appropriate for its size. On/Off and Volume Control are on the sides and though small I can perform everything I need to do with them with my average size fingers. The biggest button is on the front and is the main controller for my music and phone calls. It’s plenty big enough to perform call answering/ending and music Play/Pause functions. The Volume Up/Dn buttons control music track changes which I don’t do much of using my playlists. But as stated they’re easy enough to use when needed. Connection- Whether connecting to my phone or HAM radio the connection takes seconds. Much faster than the mid quality earbuds I own. Support- So there’s a little QR code in the clip to register the speaker for warranty. I didn’t have much luck reaching the website via the QR code. The instruction booklet provides a warranty registration email address but that site requires a code which didn't come with the speaker. The booklet also provided a customer support email address which I used to explain my warranty registration issue. In less than 24 hours I received a reply with the necessary code for the extended warranty (comes with a 1year, extended it to 2 years and 1x free replacement). So I was pretty impressed with the customer support response time but not so impressed with the reason I had to contact them. But it all worked out. Final thoughts- I just ordered a second one, what does that tell you? I’m very particular about everything I spend money on. I always try to get the best quality (within my price range) and I can confidently say I scored big on this little guy. I have 4 sets of earbuds that I use for calls and HAM radio monitoring. But they can become uncomfortable after a few hours and also prevent me from hearing normal sounds and conversations around me. This little powerhouse is the perfect alternative that suits my needs. I can’t imagine you’ll be disappointed.

The Best Quality Sounding Portable BlueTooth Speaker I Have Ever Purchased.
My first impression is that this is a clear step up over the TREBLAB HD77, which I used mainly previously. I don't have the terminology of an audiophile, so all I can really say is that it's got a fun sound that is roughly comparable to the JBL FLIP 5. Fit is the best I have had for a speaker, very easy to connect and get a good sound compared to my TREBLAB HD77 and my FLIP 5. I would compare this to the JBL FLIP 5, but it is less than 3x the price already sets it far above this BS010. Looks-wise, the speaker also looks a good deal better than the TREBLAB HD77. The black plastic face plate, solid, rubberized sides, and dynamic RGB both look just fine for the price point; nothing to complain about here. Its triangular design makes it more stable and less likely to be knocked over (better center of gravity). My BS010 was taken camping, beach, picnics, and thrown by my kids during tantrums and play, and survived with barely a scratch, the triangular design makes it easier to carry around. Sounds-wise, Compared to the HD77, it is easier to pick out details with these to my ears. Punchy bass, ordinary mids, high treble. The quality of the sound is markedly improved, not just in instrument separation, but in the sound itself. I believe you would call that clarity. Guitars, high hats, and cymbals, all sound a lot better with this compared to the HD77. The bass is punchy without being what I would describe as woofy. It doesn't sound distorted, and it doesn't appear to bleed much into the mid-range. I can hear the actual bass instruments, as opposed to just hearing bass noise like with my car speakers. The detail in the top end is very noticeably improved, I especially notice it in high hats and such. Much smoother sound, and more detail. Mids seem just fine, not what I would call recessed; It's got the same fun mid-bass boost most Bluetooth speakers have. It has two single mono speakers and two bass radiators. Pairing-wise, Nothing to say. If you’ve paired anything in your life, that’s it. Super simple. I paired to an iphone 13 and Samsung Galaxy S21 with zero delay/issue, and no disconnections within regularly stated ranges (66 feet). When you connect one speaker to your computer it can go by Bluetooth or by using the Aux cord. Playtime-wise, Battery life so far seems very good. After playing for eight hours, and then leaving it off overnight ... it still indicates 80%. As for the sound stage, which is how supposedly wide-open it feels, it is perhaps slightly better than the HD77. Due to its triangular shape, the audio is forward sounding, as opposed to all around you - and that is a good thing. And sometimes the speaker can sound thin, sometimes heavy. It all depends upon where it's placed. NOT A COMPLAINT! Trust me, that is the nature of sound. Over all, I am very pleased with my purchase of the Rythflo Portable Bluetooth Speaker. I recommend this to family, friends, and other people I care about.

Small, loud, durable. Solid purchase.
I was impressed. I had misplaced my larger speaker that had a carabineer, and didn't want to buy another of the same thing, so I thought "why not go smaller?" I needed it for skiing. I like listening to music when I ski, but hate headphones under my helmet, so a small speaker was a good way to go. Okay, backstory done, now the product: USB charging, sound quality is amazing for a speaker that size, and the volume is good for a speaker that size without distortion. Battery lasted long enough for three days of skiing, it's small enough to clip to the front of my CamelBak, and it has gone through a few crashes with me and didn't have any issues. Buttons could be a bit more intuitive, but I'm still very impressed. I don't care for multifunctional buttons. GIVE ME ALL THE BUTTONS. That said: it's perfect to clip on when doing any outdoor activities.

Phenomenal Sound. Good battery life. Great value. Nice for an active lifestyle.
I have a fair amount of Bluetooth speakers ranging from the really cheap $10 range up into the $300 range, no-names and premium brands. I wanted something that could handle the environments the sub $50 speakers don’t do well in. This does that. I wanted something that I could take with me for travel when sitting in a hotel room or using the shower. In my experience the smaller speakers can’t really get loud enough to be heard over the running water. At that volume the sound distorts. I also wanted something I could take outside when gardening and leave in a central location but hear the speaker all around my backyard. I also wanted something I could use while lying in my hammock, using my pizza oven, sitting in the hot tub. I also wanted something that was loud enough and clear enough for picnics at the park. I didn’t try this at work, the beach, a boat, or as a bedside speaker. However, I imagine it would function well there. With it’s IPX6 rating, I don’t think the beach would be an issue. Also since it has a lanyard I’d feel safe taking this on a boat since I can lash it down to not get lost. This speaker handled all those areas really, really well. The sounds is good across the spectrum of human hearing (7Hz to 17kHz). It had good bass (lows), vocals (mids), and trebles (highs). For outdoor use I like that this speaker is a triangle so it doesn’t roll away. I found the stable base useful for both making sure it didn’t roll into my hot tub, and also not rolling off a rock when I stop at the top of a mountain when hiking and chill for a bit before descending. With the lanyard I was able to safely attach it to my bag with a carabiner and then use the elastic cord on the back of my back to hold it in place so it didn’t sway. It sort of worked like a portable boom box. I could enjoy my music while hiking while not having headphones in my ears to block out the world around me. With my phone I could lower the volume so as to not disturb others. It’s light enough for hiking use in this regard. The lights on this are pretty. However, I often turned them off to preserve battery life. My one recommendation for this speaker would be to get a decent carrying case so as to protect the side silicone element from damage (tearing or getting pierced) as that is a large part of what makes the bass so rich and deep. For the money I haven’t found a better speaker in this product space (cost).

This thing is awesome!
I've got a lot to say about this speaker. This is the BEST one I've ever had. It clips on my hat, shirt or pants, is loud enough to hear wherever I am, or quiet enough to listen to privately. I've gotten litteraly 100 yards unobstructed away from my phone without losing connectivity. Battery lasts ALL day. It said 30 hours I think, and it gets every bit of that for me. I live on a farm, so I've had it covered in everything and it just rinses off. I use it for exercise and it's 100% sweat proof for me! The best part is that it isolates my voice so even when I have farm animals making all sorts of noises, the person I am on the speaker phone with can hear me clearly. I've walked though gravel, and every other bluetooth device will make it unbearable for the person I'm on the phone with, but this little speaker blocks all that out so they only hear me! I've had mine since last October, so just about 11 months. I've just recently started having problems with it dropping calls or stoping my music, but one email to the company and they are sending me a new one. The warranty is honored with this company. I highly recommend this speaker and the company. Several people, including my ac installer, have bought one based on my personal recommendation and they all love them. I even talked my elderly mom into buying one so she doesn't have to carry her phone around with her. A double tap of the button calls they person you called last, and when I call to check on her the speaker is clipped to her shirt so it's right there. Crystal clear voice, outstanding music, voice isolation and no background noise, and I take it in the shower with me to clean it all while listening to my music. This thing is my favorite bluetooth speaker and a great value for the money!

Great but clips are fragile and more than likely will fail.
I bought two of these, great sound and honestly would have a higher review. Unfortunately both clips, though stronger than the DeWalt clip on. Both failed where it rotates on the metal bar. One side breaks off and the clip slowly becomes unusable.

Portable fun speaker with big sound
I had this portable speaker in using over two months. This is what i learned. Pro: 1. Solid structures design and well built ABS. Avoid drop it on ground as plastic housing, carry it with extra care. 2. It produces strong bass in compact size. If using in a room, this little speaker box could rock the boat. Thanks for its special front speakers and side bass radiators. When using it outdoors, it still produce good sound but smaller bass reflection. For this inexpensive price range product, it can't compare to Partyboxes over 160 watts if what you need that volume. 3. It is not too light nor too heavy weight, it fits well inside a backpack. I bought a big size soft tablet sleeve to protect it from dust, scratches and dents. 4. It has multiple colors display can select from a touch of button. It well made to cover the ports from water splash and rain. 5. Bluetooth and micro sd card sound sources. 6. Battery life from 4-10 hours depending on light show usage and volume. Con: 1. I fully charged the unit, but didn't use the speaker for few days. It seems lost some charged power. Unsure it is a defective battery or got a bad one. So I need to charge the speaker again for less than 30 mins. 2. Battery life is about 4-10 hours playing, then it needs to power off to recharge for few hours, or charging while it plays. Conclusion: this is considering a quality made speaker with reasonable price. Portable size that is very easy to carry from point A to point B. Despite a small battery issue, i am satisfied the purchase.
