I bought this as a gift for my son when he started medical school. It is a beautiful high quality bag that would cost much more at a retailer. I was looking for a traditional doctor bag for him and was very happy that I found this one. He loves it as well.

I purchased this item as a gift and just received it. It is beautiful. Leather is top notch, insides are beautifully appointed with spaces for pens, cellphone, note pads, etc. Zippered middle and the shoulder strap all well made. The only thing that is keeping me from giving this five stars is the right side latch. It worked finally with a bit of fiddling, but as this is a brand new item, Idk how long it will hold up. I'm not going to send it back (yet) for another one, but I will make note of how long it's warrantied, just in case.Overall, beautiful bag, well worth the asking price.

The leather is smooth and soft, not rubbery as in cheaper looking/made products. (I purchased the brown one.) A lot of attention to detail. I think this bag will weather well with use. It has a wide top opening and a good deal of space inside. Very happy with this purchase.
