Great knife
Use for cutting hay bale strings. The magnet is wonderful for sticking to the frame of the vehicle and therefore not getting knocked of and or lost. A very nice knife for ranch work. Both the magnet and the clip are good features

Perfect Magnogrip Hack
My favorite utility knife, i’ve lost it at least a dozen times. Falls off the belt holder easily and even gets pulled from a pocket by the clip catching on cords, wires etc. Have spent hours, even days retracing steps to fine it stuck to the side of vehicles and trailers, laying in tall grass and brush, you get the idea... mean while an old phone clip has been kicking around the shop for 20 years begging for a new life. So it finally dawn on me that a hack was the only solution, after cutting two slots in the belt holder, inserting the phone clip and plastic welding the arrangement together it’s 100% secure and easily removed from and placed into the holder. I’ll be expecting royalty checks when the manufacturer copies the perfect Magnogrip hack. Hope this helps others keep a grip on a great utility knife. Persistence gets shit done right.

LOVE/HATE
LOVE: Convience, ease of useHATE: Falls off if you lean into a counter or carry something like a ladder or boards that you rest on youur hip.I am a prodfessinal handyman for res/comm and use this daily....I have had 3 of these in the last 6 months. paid for first one.. it fell of on noisy job site and i did not notice, never found.Bought second one HD, lasted 2 months blade jammed could not put new one in, HD exchanged it, no question, 3rd one lasted 4 months then I started to use the clip and a screw fell out in a week, HD exchange again. The real issue is the holder is designed to work with several Mag accessories and the lower lugs on th eclip are not deep enough to keep from bumping/pushing knife out with contact at the waist band such as leaning over a counter edge. turing clip upsdie down as lower lugs a tad deeper, we'll see....I, will likley hack this with a build up of lugs.I normal go on to the next solution whne somepthing under performs, but when this works I really like it......and its super convent.

ARE YOU KIDDING?
Nice idea but poor execution & expensive.Don't have to be a genius to realize this has an annoyingly weak magnet & routinely falls off. But if you still want one go to HomeDepot & buy it for Half price... 11.95. Made in china.Bottom Line: Earns *ONE* Star.
