It would definitely cause all kinds of damage. You should soda blast it, which uses baking soda which is much more gentle, or use a paint stripper approved for use with Carbon fiber or Fiberglass **Q: Has anyone used this a a pin cushion filler? Would you recommend?** A: We only recommend using this as a sandblasting abrasive. **Q: What media is it?** A: Well I can tell you it is black and feels like rock or hard plastic. I used it to clean calcium from my pool tile. What was nice because you can see it all when it went to the bottom of the pool. Easier to vacuum up **Q: What grit would this be** A: Extra Fine Grit 30/60 Blast Media should be somewhere around 325 grit.
