Pfister 9709800 1/2-Turn Stop Valve

This was exactly what I needed. I recently installed a Pfister LG01-1180 shower kit and this little plastic piece had an indention in it which caused my hot water valve to turn without any stop. In order to stop the hot water I had to turn the handle just right. I went to Home Depot and Lowes and could not find this little part, so when I found it on Amazon I quickly purchased it. It arrived yesterday, I popped open the valve handle and put this little piece in. All is right with my shower now!!

This is indeed, exactly what I needed. But I wasn't sure until I received it because the image displayed in the description is similar to the actual item, but it is not the same valve. The 1/2-Turn Stop Valve in the picture I attached is the correct image for the Pfister 9709800 1/2-Turn Stop Valve.

Why are these so incredibly hard to find? Was on hold with Price Pfister for 2 hours and then they couldn't help me because they acted like they had never heard of such a issue. Then I find them on amazon. Woohoo! Much better than cutting a hole in the wall to replace the whole thing.

Worked. Expensive for a piece of plastic the size of a quarter. Probably could 3D print 100 of them for what it cost.

Went right where the old one was and fit snug. Definitely a good replacement piece.

This was a life saver! It worked perfectly.

Very affordable and easy to use and install. No problems with my faucets or utilities after that.
