vibrates every time a cell phone nearby is being used, i use it in school to detect phones of students when they are not allowed to use. very helpful device! meets the expectations worth the money!

This item is a bit expensive, but I've purchased 2 or 3 cheaper items that could not reliably detect a mobile phone. This item works, but you need to have all other legitimate mobile phones and 5G internet routers turned off while scanning. The auto function may work for you, but I did the manual setting, on the second most sensitive setting.

This is perfect for schools, or places where two-way radios are not or employee cell phones are present.

I work overnights at a rehab house. Cell phones are contstantly snuck in. This is meant to be used in a large prison no windows or cars outside but still is okay in a house setting.Manual low setting works here. Can detect phones thru the walls. Will be misunderstood by people who dont take the time to study it.
