Good quality, Small Mushroom Forging Pouch
I purchased this bag to use while foraging for morel mushrooms in the Midwest. Gone are the days of carrying around plastic grocery sacks! This bag is good quality, and I’ve drug it out in the wet spring weather for 2 years with no signs of damage.I would agree with another review that this bag is small if you’re gathering large mushrooms. I’ve filled mine two years in a row.I’m writing this review as I purchase another bag for myself and one for by father/hunting partner. That should take care of the problem!

Fair Trade, Fine Quality
This is a good sized pouch I can wear on my belt (Batman Factor +1) and can fold out to hold a decent amount of trash while I walk. It is heavy canvas and leather and quite nice. It was about $30, which is still pretty cheap for something that might last a lifetime. And it came in a separate attractive little gift bag!The company that produced this thing is called Hide & Drink. They have a store at Amazon and other places. This specific item does not appear to be available at the time of this writing, but that's not the only version they make. This one was the most colorful available at the time of purchase, however.Seen here next to a 12 oz. can of some kind of green poison, the unfolded pouch measures a bit over 8 x 9 inches. If I were picking berries or collecting herbs to gain levels in alchemy, this would be completely ample room. I could probably stuff a small animal in this thing.I don't actually hunt, which might make that small animal stuffing slightly more difficult.Sewn inside the gift bag is this stamped tag. It is a bit difficult to read in some places, but more than makes up for that in pure charm. The tag states that this accessory was crafted in Guatemala. According to the scant information I can find about the company, Hide & Drink are focused on education and ending the cycle of poverty in Guatemala by providing fair wages and donating to a charity for kids. They appear to own a domain, but it resolves at this Stockyard Exchange place. As you may be able to see, there are raw edges in several places, giving the feel of a kind of folksy handcrafted artisan piece, but if you look at the sewing, it's done with a machine and looks pretty professional to me.They advertise a 101 year warranty, and I have to assume there was a typo, because if you read the tag, “101 years” roughly translates into “1 year” in this case.I feel this thing will serve me well for many, many years of picking up trash as I walk. But please don't litter.

Folding the bag up and snapping it in place takes a little practice.
I was astonished by how well this bag is made. The bag itself looks like high quality burlap, stiff and thick. Should last for many years.

Very pleased
Performed as expected. Sturdy draw string and snaps, nice genuine leather, and classic cloth pattern make this a nice purchase at a reasonable price.

Great Craftmanship
Very tough, well made and good looking. Got it on sale with a coupon on top for $15.74. Easily a value at twice that. Good small foraging bag.

Fantastic purchase
At thirty dollars for a single pouch, when the alternative is a multi pouch molle rig deal, you expect a lot to make it worth the price. I an unequivocally say that this product is well worth it. Anyone who has tried their hand at leather working will be able to see the time and craftsmanship that went into making it. The leather is fantastic, the brass is solid and gives the entire product a more rustic, solid feel. The canvas itself is quality material and has stood up to my near daily use for carrying small rocks and such while working on aquascapes. Furthermore, the 101 year warranty is a real testiment to the quality of this product. It also acts as a great conversation starter.

Forget mushroom foraging!
Bag is nicely made if your foraging small things berries but you can pretty much forget about foraging medium to large size mushrooms, the bag way too small and won’t hold much in the way mushroom foraging. Should’ve designed the bag to be larger

Tough yet light
I admit, I love all Hide and Drink products I have bought! This tinder pouch is easy to bring on walks. I collect sticks for my Emberlit firebox, and this pouch can hold a lot! No poke throughs, water resistant. Great to have for all bushcrafting adventures.
