Luba Mini 800H - super robot mower!
I purchased two Luba mini 800H robots and have been very happy with their performance. One for the front yard and one for the back yard. I previously owned a boundary wire robot from another manufacturer and laying the wire and setting it up took a lot of work plus the random path finish was ok, but never looked great. The Luba is a step above, it looks great, its very solid and durable, I love the 4 wheel drive and independent suspension which makes it easy to get around the yard. Set up is easy if you plan ahead and follow the instructions. I definitely recommend updating the RTK and the robot to the lastest software version before getting started. Its best to do this where you have a strong wifi signal. Eg inside the home in our case. The app is very user friendly, I love that cross-hatch patterns at various degrees can be programmed in. This leaves the lawn looking fantastic. Adding no-go areas is also fantastic and super easy. Finding a good location for the RTK is key for smooth operation, make sure it has a good clear view of the sky. I did have a couple of set up challenges but I contacted Mammotion customer support via email and they were very helpful and resolved my issues. Overall I'm very happy with our Luba Minis!

No Wires, No Hassle: Why the LUBA Mini 800H Won My Yard
I have owned a few Husqvarna Automowers, and recently I just got tired of fixing the ground wire. Back when I bought mine, the market was basically just Automower, but now it’s full of options. I watched just about every robot lawn mower video I could find. I looked at every option out there that would fit my use case. For context, my yard is under .25 acres, and it’s a complex setup with lots of small areas that need to be mowed. Many of the review videos I watched had the Mammotion mower in them, but it was rarely ranked number one—usually number two or three. What I realized, though, was that many reviewers picked a mower that worked better for their yard, not necessarily the best all-around. Rightfully so—some mowers are designed to mow a lot more land, and for a small yard, that’s overkill. But on the flip side, a smaller mower in a big yard is a joke, and some reviews pointed this out. That’s just one example, but there are lots of little cases like that.So why did I decide to pick this mower?#1. Yard Size FitMammotion has bigger mowers, but this one fit my yard perfectly.#2. No Ground Wire (RTK + Vision)It uses RTK and vision instead of a buried wire, which was a big deal for me. Some reviews mentioned potential RTK issues, but my deployment was simple, and I’ve had no problems—even with the house and trees nearby. The key was planning: I made sure to mount the RTK high and not covered by any trees.#3. Control FeaturesThe mower lets me set mowing heights, zones, and scheduling exactly how I want.#4. ConnectivityThis mower has 4G, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. That’s awesome and gives me max flexibility. I don’t care that 4G is extra—it’s not expensive, and I get to choose if I want to pay for it.#5. Off-Road CapabilityMy Automower used to get stuck all the time—it was always a thing. This mower is AWD, and that helps a ton. Whether it’s a hill or uneven terrain, it’s nice not having to go rescue my mower.#6. PriceReviews mentioned this, but the price was right for my yard size. Not the cheapest, but also not Automower pricing, which is really $1,500 more than most other mowers. So does this mower deliver? IT DOES.For my size yard and its complexity, it does everything I could want. Setup was easy—no wire to bury—and I can build tons of zones to mow exactly how I want. It navigates easily, no GPS or connection issues, and it actually mows in a pattern. Connectivity is great too; I can check on it anytime, anywhere. Now, as far as warranty goes—we’ll see. But as of right now, I would buy this mower again. It was a simple setup, and it meets or exceeds what I expected at a price that’s very fair.

Amazing performance on my steep hill. Lawn looks great now.
I'm really delighted with my Luba Mini, and I'm glad I chose this model. I'm a bit embarrassed to say that it does a much better job than I ever did since I was probably cutting the grass too short, so I wouldn't have to mow as often. Now, the lawn looks so much better, and I can easily maintain it on a regular basis, so it always looks great. My house is on a double lot with a modest lawn, but also has a pretty steep embankment behind the back yard - really too steep for a riding lawnmower to safely climb, and a real challenge for me, as I've become older. I was delighted at the ease with which the Mini is able to conquer that really steep back lot.Having the mowing done is an enormous time saver, and when it's finished, the Mini drives itself back to the charger and takes a nap, all on it's own. It's really quiet, so it can even work at night. It's rugged, well made, and very well designed. There are also good safety features to protect kids and pets.Very pleased with this purchase. I chose the Mini, but there are other models if you have a bigger property as well.

exceeds expectations for a medium yard with complex boundaries
We received our Mammotion Luba Mini 1500 AWD H and it is a game changer. It has taken us a week to get relatively well set up, but it is now well configured and operates extremely well. Exceeds expectations. We have two lawn areas to mow: 2450 sf and 700 sf, separated by a bumpy garden path about 30 ft long, under trees. The smaller lawn is about 100-150 ft from the RTK station, through trees and shrubs.Starting one step at a time, we installed the RTK on a fence where it sees the sky, and mapped a rough perimeter for the larger lawn. That worked fine, so we then tested it on the smaller lawn by driving the mower manually on the garden path. It mowed well, but needed to be returned to the charging station manually.Gradually, we added a schedule, added a channel to connect the two lawns, and now the mower can operate pretty autonomously for both yards. There are little hiccups along the way, but overall, the system is outstanding and exceeds what i expected. The key for us was starting with the simplest tasks and adding new complexity one step at a time. Also, our yard it relatively level but bumpy with little knees from cypress trees, so the AWD performance is quite helpful. the mower manages the little bumps as well as the natural stone pavers on the connecting path with no problem. We ordered the larger of the two battery options, and I am glad we did. The larger yard is around 2450 sf but is irregular, and it takes almost a full battery to mow at one pass, including all the intricate turns on the edges.
