Great bed, fast delivery, requires patience to put together
Arrived three days after ordering, even though it wasn't prime. Packaged effectively, beautiful bed in the end.Assembly took patience. For context, I've put together dozens of pieces of furniture from various online and brick/mortar shops, including our daughter's crib. This toddler bed arrives packaged very well completely broken down into pieces of wood that you assemble into the headboard, footboard, and base. Other beds over assembled have the walls put together and I've just had to bolt them together and lay down baseboard supports. But this one took more time and patience because each and every slat had to be assembled, kind of like cooking from scratch. The hardest part was putting the bottom of the bed together. I made three mistakes that, had I avoided them, would have saved me at least half an hour: I forgot to add the metal dowels when assembling the top bars of the headboard and footboard, but I could add them afterward by loosening three bolts at a time for each corner of the bed. I also tightened bolts too soon, without initially noticing the instructions to leave them loose initially. Lastly, I pushed the wooden dowels into the bottom bed slats all the way (too far) before the slats were in both sides of the bed base. That meant the boards were too short to easily push them all together, so I'd get one or two in as the others fell out of position. That mistake was a pain -- so just don't over tighten bolts or push in wooden dowels very far. The wooden dowels push in as you tighten bolts so just wait for that.Okay, assembly aside (all together took me by myself about ninety minutes) it's a great bed. Nice color, super smooth pieces with good finish. Feels totally firm and sturdy, and being a neutral color means we can things up by changing bedding without being committed to a bed frame color scheme.

Nice bed...Once you get it assembled!
From the description we thought it was made in Canada, but it's made in Viet Nam. That being said it seems nicely constructed, and finished with no off odors from the wood finish. Construction was frustrating. All went pretty well, until Step 11, where you assemble the bottom of the bed and the slats. They ask you to put dowels in the ends of the slats, and slip them int parts K and L (The sides of the frame). The holes for the dowels are a bit over sized and don't have much friction , so when you attempt to move the assembly (If you manage to get that far), it falls apart , and you start over. I gave up for the night and began again the next day. I decided to fasten parts K & L to the the completed headboard, and foot of the bed, giving the assembly squareness and rigidity. I kept the fasteners a bit loose, and managed to wiggle the doweled ended slats in one at a time and was done in 10 minutes. I wish I'd taken pictures to share.

The slats that hold the mattress are flimsy
I love the color and the shape and how easy it is to assemble. But the wooden slats that hold the mattress are flimsy and I haven't figured out a way to tighten all the bolts down so they all stay in place. They slide around easily, and one of the bigger support slats split where the bolt goes in (I'm sure it's from one us of adults sitting on the bed). I'm hoping to avoid any more damage, but besides that negative piece I am very happy with the purchase.

Perfect Toddler Bed
Bought this for my 2 year old son who is in love with his new bed! Instructions state 2 people needed (didnt see this until I was throwing out the instructions) to assemble but I (woman) was able to assemble about 90% of it alone although it did take some time. I needed my spouse to help steady a piece at one point. The bed is pretty sturdy; the side rails however seem to be only sturdy enough for your little one not an adult to lean on. The cost of the bed is great in comparison to some others I researched! Was able to use his crib mattress and linens which fit perfectly!

She’s a big girl now
Listen up... it’s a perfect bed at an amazing price (i paid $57). The last step of the construction, just push the right beam up against the wall to hold the slats in place while finagling the left crossbeam in place. No problem! Did the whole thing myself in 45 minutes while caring for a half dozen toddlers in a foot of snow and uphill both ways. My huge husband can lay in this bed while reading the bedtime story and singing the lullaby and it holds strong. Kid loves it and, by the way, she is “not a baby” is “a big girl now”.

Assembling
Easy to assemble for the most part, except for the bottom part with the slats. That took 3 of us and that part by itself was more frustrating than putting together an entire crib! Slats fall out so easy it is hard to get every single piece to go in without the rest falling out. At the end of the assembling, it is a very cute and durable bed. My 1 1/2 year old loves it.

SUPER time consuming to put together
looks more expensive than it is. SUPER time consuming to put together, but anyone who buys cheap stuff knows that you usually have to deal with a lot of parts not fitting together--this all fit fine and instructions pretty detailed. A faintly nasty chemical smell which went away within 3 hours while airing out the room...and my daughter didnt sleep in it for the first week just because im overly cautious. really cute and country/nordic looking. She loves it!

It’s okay
I bought this for my son and I loved it til I started to break within a month…not very durable for a hyper active 3 yr old.
