If you are looking for the best pair of boots ever made, look no farther! These boots are awesome. I have worn redwings for 20 years and I have worn thorogood iron worker boots. These boots make those boots look like they were made in a sweat shop on another planet. It's not even close. Comfortable all day. Support you need for heavy construction. I probably would not buy if I was welding. I am a crane operator and they are top notch!

The Kenetrek Mountain Guide boots are nothing short of true craftsmanship. Just plan on them being a little stiff during break-in. Yes they are expensive! Would I spend the $495 again if I lost mine? Yes! Tomorrow! I’ve owned literally dozens of hunting boots from Irish Setters and Danner, Crispies, Salomon, and about every other brand you could think off. We hunt hard, on our feet in rough hilly cover to soft open creeks and slick rock walking. A lot! Five miles straight line equals 10-12 miles walked. After reading all the reviews ahead of mine. They all cover it perfectly except the Run Big review. I am about to buy another pair and maybe another just to have. Best boot on the planet. Break-in is simple and painless. I will never buy anther brand. I hunt from the mountains in NM to the flats in KS and the forest in Canada. These are the truth. In any hunting situation your feet and ankles are the most important in my opinion.
