So these were on special the other week and I purchased one on a whim as my other half of the type that is always pumping her tyres up and having to plug in a cable and then feed through to other side of car is a pain and always when you’re in a rush to get out!What attracted me to this was the complete cordless compressor rather than the jump pack as I already have a professional 24v one but that’s an added bonus.Out of the box the unit was at 75% charge but plugged into the USB socket on the wall to fully charge. Note there is no mains adapter with this but if you have USB mains sockets they provide enough juice.Very next morning (Easter Monday) we get the opportunity to use it as we came out to a completely flat tyre.Press and hold the power button and she comes to life. Easy to set the required pressure and a proper lever type adapter. Press the power button momentarily and the compressor starts. It’s a little noisy but all compressors are.On her 18 inch focus 235’s from flat to 36psi took a couple of minutes. I was quite impressed. I did note that the battery had dropped by 1 bar of the battery charge indicator. So in theory you could do the whole car from flat and then have to charge it again.It comes in a soft but tough thick materials carry case that is bigger than the device so no snug fit covers that rip as you get with others. All the accessories and leads all fit inside the case too. parts also no more trying to squeeze everything in.I was impressed that much I put an order in for another one! So we have one per main vehicle. With our corded ones in there as a back up.One word of advice - make sure you do NOT leave this in the passenger compartment of a car as during the summer months the vehicle can get so hot that you could cause battery casings to warp. I had it on a professional jump pack, not this one but I suspect any battery device would be similar.Overall a great little device

Great product to keep in your car incase of an emergency, i have had to use it once and it worked well. Just remember to keep the battery charged on the unit as it drains the battery pretty quickly. It also has a handy usb charger port incase you need to charge a battery.

I'm a roadside breakdown patrol so I use this very frequently, I have owned and used this for around 18 months now.I find the unit really remarkable, it's 12v cigarette lighter power lead is a fast charger, it's started all sorts of big engines and generally been a compact helpful addition to my van.Downsides: if a battery is really dead (<1v) fhe unit will not turn on as it doesn't detect the circuit, the other main downside is you need a good 50% of power to start anything larger than a 1.2l engine.I had to use the manufacturer warranty for the power lead as that partially melted, it took a little while but I was sent a replacement. The process for this was a little long winded mind.Overall very happy with it

Bought to take to Zimbabwe for if we have a problem in the bush. Pump woks well, haven’t tested the jump start and the light works well. It’s quite a large unit but I’m pleased with the purchase.

Excellent product

Despite its small size, this packs some punch. When you charge it, it retains for a long time, and when you use it to jump a flat battery, the %battery is displayed, so you can accurately tell how many jumps you'll get before charging. You just connect and press the boost button. Much safer than jumping from another car as i'm told that spikes in voltage that wasn't a problem for older cars can cause expensive damage to the ECU of newer vehicles. My friend got one and uses for his tractor. So useful to keep in the car, eg if away on holiday and your battery is flat in the airport longstay at midnight- you've got this in the boot. Or the awkward time a friend asks you to jump his car, but you'd rather not risk you own car's battery or electronics- lend him this. Really good value, and peace of mind. I better stop, as I sound like I am doing an advert rather than a review. As for how many years it lasts, no idea, but feels decent enough quality. Perhaps just a slightly longer lead might be beneficial, but will fit any battery I've seen.

This is fantastic. The build quality is top rate the cables and clips are excellent. I had a bad experience before with another brand of booster so did not hold out any hope. I brought to start my sprinter van.This booster started my sprinter with ease and only used 5% of its power. I cannot recommend enough how good this booster is.

Fully charged just tried to use for first time followed instructions to the letter and wouldn’t start a 2.4 engine - went and got proper jump cables and started it using another car in normal way so the problem is this not the car trying to start
