Lego Comes Through Again with Neat Builder Set
All Legos are expensive. That's just a fact of life, but sometimes, the expense is worth it. This set is a nice example of that. The Lone Ranger and his faithful steed charge onto the scene. Over the years, Lego has gotten better about changing character expressions and having a nice variety of sets that fit in a wide price range. At $12.97, for the cheapest set, it's a reasonable investment to build your army. The soldiers look spiffy, (and hey, who knows, perhaps someday Lego will get around to doing collector edition US Civil War and these little guys will fit right in.)These days, I'm more into collecting than actually playing with the sets, but I do see that with a bit of imagination, this set could occupy a kid for hours.Who doesn't love accessories? This tiny set is full of nice little additions to any Lego collection. When I was a kid, I liked to take all my swords, guns, pots, pans, gold pieces, etc and organize them by type. This would be an excellent start to any collection, but it's also a nice addition to a well-established collection.BTW, for those who care, Legos tend to hold decent resale value, so if you're worried about the money, keep in mind that you can probably recoup a lot of the expense and turn around and buy the newest thing.(Incidentally, my boxes came pretty beat up, which is sad because usually amazon's great about packaging. If you care what the box looks like you may want to keep that in mind, but if you're just going to rip the thing open the second it comes in the mail, worry not...there are hours of fun here.)

Great mini-fig set
The last time LEGO released any western themed sets was back in 2002; so having LEGO pick up the Lone Ranger license was great news for many LEGO builders. At $13, this set is the least expensive of the six Lone Ranger sets LEGO released this year. It's also one of only two sets (the other is the Constitution Train Chase) where you get the Lone Ranger's trusty steed, Silver. And a great feature of the new LEGO horses is that they can also be posed on their hind legs. So that iconic pose of the Lone Ranger, as shown on the box, is totally achievable. There isn't much of a build at all in this set, but it does come with some nice elements like the campfire, US Cavalry flag, and a load of weapons. You're mainly going to want to pick it up for the Union soldier figures and Silver. It's a great and inexpensive addition to any LEGO collection.

Great little set!
This is a great starter set for The Lone Ranger. It comes with three cavalry men and The Lone Ranger. Has a small wall to hunker down behind. My favorite part is the cannon. It comes with ammo that can be loaded and shot quite a distance. For this price, to get 4 pretty cool minifigures, the functional cannon and the "fort" wall, I think this is a great buy. Very playable.

Very small and very big price tag.Not worth the $ 20 plus price.

Good figs for a great price.
As far as minifig sets go this grouping is one of the better ones I have seen in a while. Four figs, six weapons, a horse, and a cannon. Not much to complain about here except that the horse really likes to fall over repeatedly. How this impacts me is that at least once a week the awesome display I have on my desk has a downed horse. However, a good set for a interesting display.

Great set!
My grandson loved the set, especially when we paired it with the stagecoach set. I bought it for his 6th birthday and it was just perfect for his age group (he usually initially gives his lego sets to his older brother to put together and then plays with them), but this time we put it together, with him doing most of the work.

If you ain't CAV...
Awesome Cavalry LEGO set. The only bummer part about this particular item was that the cannon base broke on the holders where the cannon tube snaps onto. It broke right out of the package when putting it together. It may have been because it's a relatively older set from 2013ish timeframe or so, so maybe the pieces were a tad bit brittle. Other than that, for the price I paid it was totally worth it, in my opinion anyways.

Great Set
Price was high but with it to me at 61 dollars. Very nice set. But the price now for such a small set at 98 is just to high.
