Bandai Hobby #04 HGBF Build Gundam MK 2 Model Kit (1/144 Scale)

The model quality is okay, considering it's "high grade". The model itself is kinda meh though. The pack is clumsy and comes apart easily at certain joints, so it's not a good toy, but the rest is good. I only got it for spare parts to replace parts that broke on another Gundam Mk-II model, and I didn't want to buy duplicate models or wait for the Revive edition which might have different joints (If the Revive series is going to use the same awful joints as the Freedom Gundam Revive, I'm gonna have a problem.) I'd only reccommend it if you want an alternative to buying a standard Gundam Mk-II, as the only good thing it comes with is the alternative chest and horn pieces, both hands with trigger fingers (a rarity among these models) and the extra rifles. The flight pack for the most part is junk, or at least the shields on it.

This kit is based on an older kit but really feels like a solid kit. The add on backpack is wonderful. The new parts on the mk2 itself are not very color correct and require either the large stickers in the kit or paint. The backpack is large and in charge.

It's RX-178 MK2 HG kit with build fighter parts added. I liked the regular HG MK2, I like this more just for the extra pieces and that it's in white. It's hard to find the HG MK2 AEUG for me, so this works just fine.The downside with this kit is the stickers. The chest vents, stickers. The Build Fighters V-fin, stickers. I personally like the Build Fighters V-fin better, just slap some paint on them because those stickers WILL peel off. Aside from the stickers I don't really see a problem for this kit. Great for beginners, a walk in the park for people with advanced building skills.

The Build Gundam Mk II is a High Grade that really shows its age at this point, it's basis originally coming out in 2002 made this a dated piece from the outset. it's use of blue plastic for a gold V-fin is lazy, and anyone hoping to use parts to customize it with current high grade kits and vice versa will find themselves modifying a lot of the parts to get the desired effect. I enjoy the look of the Build custom of the Mark II though, so I can't help but wish this variant could get a remake using the more recent and more solid Revive version of the MK. iI

Oh man, this is an amazing update for the Mk.II RX-178-2. Also comes with a pretty good level of customizability.

Love it! It is one of my favorite gunpla I've made so far!!!! The only complaint I have is too many stickers almost all the yellow on him are stickers but still less stickers then most hgs I have also got yellow markers so I'll be fine!

This was fun to build, its a little bigger than most of the 1/144 gundams out there. Its back accessory doesn't hinder the figure at all it can stand perfectly with a base. Recommend this to anyone who build gundam

本当にアンテナと胸パーツだけ、追加された、1999年のHGUC、ようするに、新規パーツはビームサーベルのパーツとブースターだけ、改造ポイントの方は旧キットの方法で良いみたい手首とか?なぜか？自分のは、少し首が長いのですが気のせい?

旧HGUCのパーツ構成とか関係なく、オリジナル設定のスーパーガンダムマークIIみたいな機体設定が気に入りましたので購入。オリジナルであるマークIIをまだ入手していないので、入手したら旧タイプと新タイプの技術の違いを堪能しながら作りたいですね。ビルド系は「こういう機体も有りかも」と思わせてくれる作品が多いなと感じさせてくれます。

これが１３００円で入手できるなら「有り」でしょう。本体は息の長い（古いとも言う）マークⅡですがブースターの形状が大変マッチしているので全く違和感がありません。問題はブースターのジョイントがモールドだけで稼動しない部分が有りポーズなどの幅がないことぐらいでしょうか。

本体も新規パーツにしてほしかった、旧HGUCガンダムＭＫⅡそのままではね。
