Excellent Flow, Cheap to run, Easy to Clean, Fantastic Value - there is no reason not to buy.
Ok, the pump has only been on for 5 days, and I am impressed to say the least, allow me to explain why.I have had 3 hozelock pumps in the last 5 years, the first was an aqua force 8000 lph which came with my 14000 hozelock revolution filter, it did a reasonable job with my largish 10ft x 12ft x3ft pond, but seemed to always be struggling to keep it clear, mostly because the sun was on the pond pretty much 24/7 in the summer as well as a large tree which tended to drop leaves in there plus I also probably had far to many fish in there due to fish hanky panky over several years. The 8000 aqua-force gave up after about 2.5 years but fortunately was still under a 3 year warranty, however, there was a number of annoying and fiery hoops they wanted me to jump through before they would replace it, so I first had to go and buy a new impeller to see if that was the issue with it (it wasn’t and wasted £35) so after sending the original receipt they agreed to replace it with the same (but newer model) like for like. However this whole process took a couple of weeks and as this was in the middle of the summer I couldn’t wait for the replacement to arrive as the pump drove water over a small waterfall to provided the oxygenation of the water, fish were gasping and on the verge of dying, it wasn’t good.. So I bit the bullet and sprang for a (£280 retail) 15000 lph hozelock aquaforce off eBay which was brand new and sealed and discounted to £150 while the RMA for the old pump was going on, I thought I could always use the new RMA 8000 pump when it came back for a water feature or whatever at a later date. The hozelock aquaforce 15000 was awesome compared to the 8000, it was brilliant! Couldn’t have been happier water was clear, fish were happy, everything was great! Then, it just died after about 6 months.... because I didn’t buy it from a proper shop hozelock wouldn’t honor the warranty (which I suppose is fair enough) even bought a new impeller for it to see if that would fix it, but realised the casing had cracked so it was a “gonner”. Well at least I had the rma brand new 8000 I thought, 12 months later, this is now completely dead, maybe not entirely it’s fault to be fair as there was a lot of weeds floating about after some recent pond alterations and I had cleared the impeller a number of times in the lead up to it going kaput, but whatever way you look at it, it was dead and wasn't that great anyway flow wise - it couldn't cope.Anyway, I was in the same scenario as the previous year, hot summer, fish gasping, no pumps to run through the filter, heavily debated a new aquaforce 15000 off ebay as the additional water flow meant cleaner better condition water, plus the fish love a decent current to swim against, but having been burnT on eBay before I wasn’t going to do that again, so new one then? £280 is a lot for something which only lasted 8-10 months before...both cost and this put me off going Hozelock again. So bit the bullet and got this pump, at £90 I am prepared to take a punt if it kept up its promises. The Actual Review:OK so the cage the pump sits in isnt anywhere near as well made as the aquaforce pumps, but then its around a third of the price, the cage does however do a decent job of protecting the pump all things considered preventing larger organics being sucked into the impellar, plus its very easy to open and clean as it actually separates into two pieces when you unclip and open it (top and bottom) - when in operation the pump is inaudible, the flow though is something else (in a good way), easily as powerful as advertised and pushing my 40mm hose very well and at least the equivalent of the hozelock 15000 pump I previously had, the fish are happy as pie with the huge current now circulating water and the fish have been diving in an out of it with joy (which they couldn't do with the lackluster 8000 pump as it just didnt have the beans). I am yet to verify the actual watts used while running, but if it really is as advertised this is around 50 watts less than the Aquaforce 15000 I had but with no downside that I can see as its very powerful. Overall exceptionally happy with the performance of the pump and the less power and the budget price mean I am completely satisfied with it. I have developed low expectations of pump longevity due to past experience, but if this pump lasts 12 months then I will be happy with it, at the end of the day I could buy one of these every year at this price rather than the £280 of the Hozelock equivalent I had been using, if it lasts 24 months then I am quids in. Fully Recommended, dont hesitate and buy now if your looking for a very powerful, economically cheap to run, cheap to buy bargain.UPDATE: 6 Months later (Jan19) and still going strong - very happy with it so far and would still give 5 star and recommend - based on this performance I would most likely buy again and can see no advantage in "splashing" (sorry) out on a more expensive pump over this one.UPDATE: 14/Jun/21 - Well the Pump finally failed... - But was it the pumps fault? - maybe/probably not... - came into the garden today and wandered up to the pond on the hottest day of the year so far and noticed the fish sucking at the surface, why is the pump (which is party responsible for oxygenating the water) not on! - Having taken it out and opened it up and inspected it I can see its terminal as the spinning impeller rod has worn through the inner casing of the pump, this has allowed water to enter the motor coil and rust has expanded inside and has internally pushed the inner plastic onto the moving rotor, never to spin freely again...Now I probably cant blame the pump for this as due to an incident a few weeks ago where i lazily balanced the output hose to the pond on the edge whilst when making some changes - came back a while later (quite a long while later) and the hose had fallen away from the pond and ejected all the water out to the degree the pump was dry running, i suspect this incident lead to the recent failure... however i was under the impression the pump should stop if it was dry running? - maybe it was the angle of the now half unsubmerged pump or something?Bottom line is that I have been very happy with the pump over the last 3+ years and was £90 well spent in my view, I have just ordered another slightly more powerful version of the pump - which is 20K lph & £139.95 at time of this review https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07FDXX3TQ?psc=1&smid=A2N7FUIPMSTYPN&ref_=chk_typ_imgToDpIf this new pump lasts and performs as well i will be very happy...NB - I also had to buy a new filter as my Hozelock revolution was disitergrating internally after 6 odd years - so i bought a All pond Solutions 30K one https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B077SKCJK6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 - its twice the capacity of my old Hozelock 14K Filter and benefits from an "AutoClean" function which i love (compared to the manual process with the hozelock revolution) - the kit i got included a 12K LPH pump which I have been testing alongside my 15K Jebao pump - the All Pond Pump is OK... but no where never the solids capacity of this Jebao with either its Case or Impeller (which are both very small compared to the Jebao) - its a daily task to clear the weeds stuck on the outside of the Pump case and the little impeller (probably worsened with Fish spawning and tearing up the plants in the pond at the moment) - so am looking forward to pairing the new high capacity Jebao 20K lph pump to the 30K All Pond Solutions Filter - it should be a good match and mean I dont have to worry about the pond quite as much.I will review both the new Jeboa pump and add a review for the All pond Solutions kit in the next few weeks as things progress if your interested.

Powerful pump at low price
Plenty of power & flow from a very reasonably priced unit. also expect to see reduction in running cost due to low wattage motor.

Great pond pump
When you want the best you buy the best. I well recommend this pump its easy to work with even easier to maintain. The reason the propella isnt covered is because the covering would continually get blocked up with pond debris, so they made it easy to maintain, the last one lasted 4yrs, great value in my eyes.
B**!
Reliable and handles natural filth and grime in 20,000 litre pond easily!
Excellent bit of kit identical to the one I had to replace which lasted 5 years! It was on 24 hours a day 24/7 near as damn it!!!
