Wallace Elite Curator 18-10 Stainless Steel Flatware Set, 65-Piece, Service for 12

We use it for everything. Daily and for company. I do not use my silver I got for my wedding as this keeps its color permanently. I ordered one set a year ago and added another set recently so I would have enough for the holidays.

This set is really pretty and is such a nice weight. It's heavy but not too heavy. I've had it a few weeks and there is no rusting and it's just as shiny as when I got it. I'm really pleased with this purchase.

I love this set. it has a small teaspoon great for a fine China teacup nice fit. I also like the size of the tablespoon perfect for thick or thin soup. the salad fork perfect for all types of salad. the dinner fork great for a small steak perfect for a thick juicy steak and a nice weight to the knife. this set will spoil you it is not a run of the mill set it is beautiful, made well, it will last a lifetime. I am very tired of the generic look. this is craftsmanship at its finest it's also made in Silver at a very high price. While it is still available in 18/10 stainless in a 65pc set at a great price I got one for my sister in-law and myself before it is no longer available like so many other discontinued patterns. I am so HAPPY! HAPPY! HAPPY!

These are so pretty. They are solid and heavy. I only use salad forks, I do not like big dinner forks and spoons. The dinner forks have really long tines. I am going to search for extra salad forks.I would buy again.

The handle on the knife is clearly not the same as the one pictured. In the photo from the company, you can see that the handle on the knife is rounded not flat (even casting its own shadow) and where the handle meets the blade is hexagon shaped, not flat. My husband really liked this feature and it was the main reason why he chose it. When it arrived today, it is just flat, NOT as pictured. In looking super close for other photo/reality discrepancies, you can see that the tip of the spoon handles actually tip downward in the photo (by the company) but tip up in reality. That's not a big deal, just a difference from the company's photo but the knife handle was an obvious discrepancy from the photo and one that made the difference to my husband. You can see in the picture I took of what arrived today that it is very different from the company's picture.UPDATE 4/2/16I am posting an update to my initial review expressing my disappointment in the handles being different than the ones pictured. Once we got over the obvious knife handle difference, we actually really do like the set a lot. They are very beautiful and we really enjoy using them every day. Everyone that uses them compliments their weight and beauty and both of my kids have now asked for a set as they get their own apartments this Fall. Using them as every day ware truly makes you feel just a little bit spoiled. I did end up buying a second set (with the round knife handles like we originally wanted) so now we have this set at both of our homes. I've had no problem with pitting, etc. and I do put them in the dishwasher.

It was a little larger and heaver than I had anticipated but the men in the family like it just fine.

This set arrived today, and it is very beautiful, but I am shocked by the size of the spoons, both soup and tea.Thank God I saved my old set, so I can compare them to make sure I am not imagining this....and I am not.The soup spoon is the size that the teaspoon usually is, and the teaspoon is a child's size. Also, the dinner fork has prongs that are sooooo long, it's scary. However, the stainless steel is 18/10 so you don't have to worry about it rusting. It also comes with a Hostess set. I love soup and have it a lot, so I will probably keep my old soup spoons, and use the ones from this set as teaspoons...... and throw the teaspoons from this set out.

This set is beautiful. I just put it through the wash today. Hopefully it will stay that way without rusting out. I would say that the Wallace Brand is a pretty safe bet.My kitchen is done in French Country. My colors are soft yellows and blues as is my table linens. This is not a simple set with regard to the decoration. That been said, it does look a bit old-school cool like it has been in the family for years. I would use this as my everyday set as well as casual dining at my home. Most of us do not have "grand affairs" and that been said, I think with a simpler/smart kitchen well done kitchen they add just a bit of wealth to the table without looking cheesy.I have a blue set of plates that I would call French country (flowers) and a set of plate that are a European simple taupe color. This set does not knock these simple yet lovely plates away as if they "don't go." Again, it looks like something timeless and of superior quality without being tacky.But I suggest if you put little or no thought to design at all - get something simple. They will, in that case, look tacky.The quality is very good. The forks are not huge as people say. they really are not. I think someone saw that on a threat and ran with it.Love it!

Have not yet used but gathering of family over Christmas will be enjoyed, having two serving sons in the armed forces, have not been together for nearly two years I want this to be special.

Grandmother had this design in silver and steel. The Antique Baroque and Grand Baroque design by Wallace has been around for a century and you can still find some unique pieces to add to your service. Wallace has at one time or another made every piece of table service utensil you can think of and they made them in the Antique Baroque and Grand Baroque design (which look great together). The set is well made and I think they are just as heavy as the old (1960's) spoon and fork we have. The knives are larger than expected but the whole set looks great with Grandma's China. We are happy with the set and would recommend it highly. The design is great and Wallace has many to chose from and they seem to make them for many years per run so you can always find replacements. Wallace has been around for so long for a reason I guess and will buy from them again.

I love this flatware set. It has such a beautiful design and it goes so well with my bone china. Adds the extra that was missing from the table setting. Highly recommend.

I ordered the Duchess gold set, and it is heavy and fancy, so I am quite pleased with this purchase. Haven't used them yet, so hope the gold plating doesn't wear off. I always wanted a fancy gold set, like my grandparents had, for special occasions, and this is it. Highly recommend.

I was surprised with the quality but I really like this set. Feels heavy enough in hands, looks amazing. No problem after dishwasher.
