This book is a gift for a family member. He has great interest in indigenous people of our great continent. Hopefully this provides him with helpful information.

My late husband was mixed blood Chickasaw and Caucasian, so naturally my sons want to know everything they can about that side of their heritage. Buying books like this one takes them a long way on their journey to knowledge. I am so proud of my one remaining child and his devotion to this cultural enrichment. It brings my husband right into the room, spiritually speaking, of course.

A great book just what I was looking for

Ein sehr schön gemachtes Buch mit vielen Informationen über die Geschichte und Kultur zahlreicher Stämme von Native Indegenous Americans. Das Buch hat viele schöne Zeichnungen und gemalte Bilder. Leider keine Photos. Das finde ich etwas schade - deshalb auch nur vier Sterne.

A worthy compendium. Everything you need to know about the subject. Every topic for every tribe arranged in a logical and accessible way.

Great and concise Encyclopedia with a brief history on all the american indian tribes in alphabetical order which makes it easy to read and accessible to everybody.
