Works perfectly
I had several sets of earbuds when I bought my new phone, which did not have a 3.5mm jack. This adapter works perfectly. It's also pretty inexpensive for the robust build. I heard no drop in sound quality.

Did not FULLY function - did not OUTPUT audio from mic
Got this to use with headset headphones is like to use for phone calls (the headphones are over-the-ear and hence block outside noise so I don't have to risk my hearing cranking the volume). They simply didn't work. I have another phone that still has a 3.5mm jack so the headphones themselves are still working. Waited too long to return it for a swap so I don't know if the adapter was defective or if the design simply doesn't allow outgoing audio from a mic.

Great dongle sound and quality.
Got this to pair with my iPad and DT 770 Pro X LE and it’s perfect. I listen to A LOT of music and this dongle gets the job done perfectly. There’s no drop off in quality and the build is solid as well.

Odd wavy sound effect on both calls and music.
I tested this adapter on my Samsung A16 5g to connect to my gaming headset. It connects fit-wise. My phonecase doesn't keep it from fully connecting. It doesn't easily slip out. The music (tested with different songs that have subtler sounds/effects in them to see if I could still hear them like I can with my Bluetooth headset, I could, which is good.) sounded as good as before, however it has a wavy-pitch effect to it, that I never had unless using this adapter. It sounds like some effect a streamer or content creator would add for comedic effect. It even makes MY voice sound wavy when calling others... I can make out words/songs and others can understand me on calls, but I'd rather not be stuck with a voice/sound effect that is impossible to turn off. Will be returning and back on the hunt for a proper adapter. It may work better if you have a different device, but you'll have to test it yourself or search through the reviews for your specific device.
