This thing is 'buy it for life'...If you want a good gas can, it's worth every penny...
Haven't even put any gas in this can yet, but first impression is that this is the gas can I've been looking for all my life.Heavy, thick body (6-layer construction per manufacturer description), very sturdy fill cap, dispensing spout is flexible and durable, fuel-dispensing valve is handy and easy to operate right on top of the can. Molded carry handle on top and two on the bottom for tipping/carrying/maneuvering all seem and feel great and functional. All construction seems top-notch, and as long as this thing doesn't leak (which I can't imagine will happen given the way this thing is built) it's the best value gas can you can get for the money nowadays. (There are much more expensive options out there.)I simulated a gas fill on my John Deere lawn tractor and on my Polaris ATV, and it's so much better than the tip-and-pour gas cans I've had all my life, (spilling, slopping gas around, dripping on the garage floor, holding the heavy can the whole time) that I almost had an orgasm. (I'm not insane, I just act like it on Amazon reviews for the public's benefit.) Set this thing on the fender, tank, seat, wherever is sort of flat and level, let the machine you're fueling support the can's weight, push the valve handle, and you're filling your tank, baby. Easiest thing in the world, compared to normal gas cans.Made in USA, parts available if you ever need them, one-year warranty, and I fully expect this gas can to last me the rest of my life. My grandson will probably fill his lawn mower with this thing 40 years from now, and I'm not kidding. I use one of my dad's old steel gas cans that's at least that old. This thing is a much better design, and at least as well-made as the old stuff, even if it is "plastic".Will only be filling the ATV for snow plowing until spring, so hopefully I don't use it much until the lawn starts growing again (depending on Mother Nature and her whims), but I already put it on my Google calendar to order a second one in the spring, and I'll retire all my other gas cans then. Maybe use em for target practice.

It pours!
I recently needed a new 5 gallon gas can and this one works like a gas can should! This is sealed tightly as required now. Put when you pull the trigger it vents and gas can flow freely un like the can I purchased first. The other brand I bought locally only trickled out and had to keep tipping it to vent. That one went in the trash and got this one as a replacement. Very glad I did. This one works like a gas can should. You fill it and pour it into your mower, tractor, what ever quickly and easily! No trickle, no needing constant tipping, no spilling, IT SIMPLY WORKS!!!!

πππFINALLY A GAS CAN THATS HARD TO SPILLπππ
πππI've always hated gas cans since no matter how hard I tried, I almost always spilled some from the dumb way typical gas containers were made but NOT ANYMORE!YES this is on the expensive side but it's worth it for ease of use, ease of filling it up at pumps and best of all NO SPILLAGE and NO LIFTING AND POURING ANYMORE! Just use the well designed hose and gravity allows pouring without spills and it's also nice to get 5 gallons each time for keeping on hand for mower.MUST HAVE FOR EVERYONE IMHO!WELL DESIGNED, THANKS TO MANUFACTURER!πππ

Worth it!
I finally got tired of all the usual gas can configurations out there and decided to spend the dough on these to make my life a little easier. I couldn't be happier. My only, very minor complaint, is that the spring loaded lid has a tendency of popping off while I'm filling it at the gas station. This is far outweighed by the ease of use while I fill my equipment throughout the season. I was also slightly concerned about the moving parts, but I was pleased to see that the spout itself uses a double o-ring configuration to prevent leaks, the trigger prevents leaks even before these 2 o-rings, and, should these o-rings ever dry out or otherwise fail, they sell replacement parts on their website for a very reasonable cost. The wall thickness is incredible and I have no doubt that this thing is going to outlast me. Best of all? Built right here in USA. Can't recommend it enough.(Side note for the "2+" gal version: I use the 5gal for regular pump gas and the 2gal for my 2 smoke mix. Trying to get my oil into the 2 gal canister was kind of a process and absolutely requires a funnel. Even with this small annoyance, these are still well deserving of a 5-star rating.)

good concept
well made. very stout. how long the fuel delivery tube seal will stay leak proof is the question. but not to pour fuel from the top of the can is good. No spills. until the fuel tube seal gives out.

Highly recommend!
We have a cabin that runs on a gas generator. This gas can is a gae changer! It is very easy to use. Many of our neighbors loved it and have purchased it as well.

Expensive, but really cool and works well
If you have seen the videos, you know how this gas can works. It is really cool. All of the cool stuff shown in the videos is spot-on as far as I can tell. Now for the down sides, aside from the price...There is a little yellow screw cap that fits on the nozzle. Once you unscrew it, it is not tethered and can be easily lost. This is the single largest design flaw I have found with this product. The fueling trigger has a safety and the safety can be a little awkward to disengage. However, it works to prevent the trigger from being depressed when you don't want it depressed.Fueling is accomplished by gravity and air pressure, the trigger opening the value to allow air in and gas to flow out of the bottom of the can. That works fine. The flow is a bit slower than I am used to, but works well, except when you release the trigger to stop filling and there is more filling that will occur as the line drains and as you tilt the unit to the side to get out the last dribbles. If you aren't careful, your lawnmower will go from full to spill. In other words, it isn't fool proof, but it is an improvement over traditional cans.
