FurinnoIndo 8-Tier Media Tower, Espresso

I've put together a lot of cheap furniture in my life and this is the best/solid/constructed version of a cheap chinese garbage shelf I've ever assembled. Obviously an expensive solid wood shelf would be ideal but if you're cheap like me, then this is actually a pretty good product.

Cheap and flimsy mostly. These things are almost always frustrating to put together for me because of the way the pieces fit together and the hardware that is used, specifically the top and bottom part, it uses that frustrating locking system, those fastening screws didn't fit all the way in and my tools quickly eroded and crushed the cheap hardware. This caused the top and bottom parts to not be fully connected, nothing short of a smash from my hammer would fix this. So there is a small gap, not that noticeable but still not worth it for the price point. I would recommend spending more to get a better product. These things ship really dirty, mine was dinged and chipped in several places, just not a quality product. On top of all of this it is just flimsy without attaching this to the wall, something I don't want to do because I don't own my place. I just want something that stands up straight that I can push to the back of the wall and will hold. This leans forward and is not all that stable. I understand they want you to attach it to the wall but be aware that it's not going to be very stable if that is not an option for you. I also noticed the holes are not properly all lined up and the way they are placed will limit the way you want to adjust each level. Your mileage may vary, if you want something quick and inexpensive it might be okay but this isn't that good, I'm sure you can find something better. It's pretty inexpensive but it used to be at this price point you could get a pretty good product, something that would last, now we just get this cheap Chinese junk.

This bookcase was very easy to assemble; especially with a cordless drill. The unit as a whole seems pretty sturdy especially for it's price point. The back is made of flimsy material, but they provide instructions and tools to help steady it a bit.I only have 2 cons with this unit. One of the corners came messed up, but luckily it is bottom corner so doesn't affect the look of the unit and is small enough it doesn't affect the balance. The other issue I had with the unit was in the instructions on how put it together. The illustration for step 3 indicate that the screws go in the outer 2 holes on both sides; but they actually go in the INNER 2 holes. I tried to follow the instructions at first but then realized if I did the nails would stick out and the unit pieces would not lay flush to each other.I have a small odd wall space that this unit fits into perfectly! Exactly what I was looking for to help organize my makeup. Birchbox boxes and ipsy bags fit with just a little overhang.

Literal garbage. I had high hopes but as soon as the building process happened, I knew I bought something stupid.Sure enough, tonight, not even a month after I bought it, it literally fell apart while we were watching TV. The top half snapped off and fell right onto me. The whole thing exploded completely unprompted.I was thorough when I built it, despite questioning the sanity of whoever designed it. It was only holding Blu Ray movies, nothing heavy. The cats weren't near it, nobody was jumping around near it, it just exploded randomly.Do not purchase this. It's trash. I could tell from the moment I looked at the instructions.

Over just 7 months, the lower (longer) side panels start to deform and spread. The back comes out of the grooves and it becomes unstable. Finally the shelves collapse. Being made of chip boards, it is very frail and hard to repair. The clamps holding the two parts together do not work well the second time around.If you are in a climate controlled apartment, maybe this would not be a problem. In my neighbors real house, it clearly is.I would not buy this product if I knew this would happen. Go to evening classes and learn a very small amount of woodworking skills. Even as a first project, you would likely do better. And you can tell your friends.

This tower was very easy to put together. Not including shelf placement, this took me about 45 minutes to complete assembly, including organizing and inspecting the pieces and hardware. Some reviewers say their tower fell apart. Mine is very sturdy, and I don't expect that.I have two complaints:The first is the lack of covers for the two locking cams, which I can see inside the tower when I'm sitting. The manufacturer included stickers made for hiding the screws (appreciated!), and two cam covers would only cost a few cents.The second is stability. The tower comes with wall anchors to keep it from tipping forward, but I don't care to attach this to a wall. The manufacturer could make the bottom piece larger for those who don't want to use wall anchors. I bought a single shelf piece and nailed it to the bottom just for this purpose, and it works for me (no kids or pets or indoor sporting events). The shelf sticks out an inch on each side and three inches in the front, and it keeps the tower stable on carpeting.Overall, the tower looks nice and is serving its purpose. The espresso laminate matches my other espresso laminate furniture, which were made by different companies, so I'm thrilled about that. I recommend this tower as a good value for the price.

The tower is a cost effective method of storing and displaying the discs. It looks good. The instructions did not mention the back arrived folded and it had to be unfolded to use it. The unit should be attached to the wall. The enclosed straps did not work for me. I used my own hardware. Overall it is a good looking, cost effective piece.

I know these are cheap so I wasn’t expecting them to be great quality but I was certainly expecting them to come in good condition! I ordered two of these for a birthday present for my spouse and they’re covered in scratches and chips. The back piece also doesn’t reach all the way to the top. Overall It’s pretty upsetting. They look like they’re years old I could have bought something used for less money in better condition, really disappointing :(

Very cheaply made for less money I could of bought the wood and made it myself. Laminated pressboard.

Extremely cheap and fragile and one of the steps in the instructions was incorrect which resulted in some damage.You could get way better for the same price from ikea.
