Seachem Pristine Aquarium Treatment, 500ml (001438)

This product is incredible. I bought it to help speed up the decomposition of detritus in my turtle tank, and it worked great! I do it after every change or when there's a buildup, and I must admit that it definitely helps decompress compared to not doing it. It's so easy to dose with Seachem's cap and instructions on the back, and it only takes me a minute at most if I'm doing one of my larger tanks. Overall, if you're looking for a good probiotic to break up debris and get rid of this, this is your product!

I use this in combination with prime and stability as part of my tank maintenance. Keeps the water healthy and looking fantastic. Does a great job with keeping water parameters steady and keeping the water for free. Use this in a planted tank and is safe for all.

I can't even believe how good this stuff is. I have a 25 gallon tank that is unfortunately housing 3 ENORMOUS goldfish. My daughter won them at a fair years and years ago and I had no idea they would live for as long as they have and would grow to the colossal sizes that they have. I was obviously struggling to keep the tank clean. I had to do massive water changes everyday to keep the water from being toxic to not only the fish but to my nosehairs when I walked into my house. Along came Seachem Pristine. I bought this product exactly 1 month ago, and put 2 doses in. Believe it or not, I have not had to do a SINGLE water change in 4 weeks. The water is crystal clear and there is literally NO poop at the bottom of the tank. How is this even possible? Imagine that you have a dog that poops all over your house everyday. Imagine a spray bottle where you spray the poop and it magically disappears and keeps working for an entire month. THAT'S what this product does. I have no idea how. It must be magic.

I started using this to get my water a little bit clearer. And it worked. It took my tank to that next level of cleanest or clearness I should say. I added whenever I do a water change whenever I add a fish or something like that. It really does make the difference. I ran out once and let the tank go a little bit over a month and I could see the difference. Really does work and help.

This did clear my long term cloudy aquarium water after dosing two times. It adds a different kind of bacteria to the water column and passes through filters. It doesnt seem to cause any issues to the already established nitrifying bacteria either. I had tried water changes and less feeding to no avail. None of my chemical checks showed anything was out of tolerance. Yet within 1 day of adding new water, the tank water always became cloudy. I doped the tank with this twice over two days and now the water is crystal clear. I'll likely continue to use this product in the future as needed.
