Really great tool to have. A little more affordable than in the office supply store.

Having signed up for a scenery painting class, one of these was required to do scaled reproductions. I've never used one before but found the look of this to be high quality. My instinct was right. This heavy, aluminum ruler is easy to read, feels nice in the hand and stands up to a bit of wear. Highly recommended for practical use.

Great Scale(s), as expected. Nice weight, Aluminum, easy to read and use. Four stars only due to the edges (corners) are too sharp and should be slightly rounded.

All of my scaled rulers were chipped up and warped, so I thought I'd splurge on an aluminum ruler. This little guy is pretty accurate and the aluminum and will resist chipping unlike the wood or plastic ones I already have. One of the nicer things that I've noticed about this is that the center groove on each side is color coded so I can work visually rather than picking it up and flipping it around for the proper scale. In this case, I work in 3/8" and 3/4" scale a lot, so I am always looking for the blue stripe. Perhaps this is common on newer scale measuring sticks, but it is new to me as an adept amateur, so it is really delightful in a kind of common way. I'm concerned that the printing on the ruler may wear fast, it is fine so far with only a couple months of use, but the marks are printed and stand proud of the surface, not engraved. This is going to fail and wear away at some point, but so far so good.

Love these rulers. They are solid with a good weight to work with. Great for drawing work and very sturdy.

Excellent solid aluminum quality product at a good price. As a bonus, could clearly be an effective self defense tool with the corners as sharp as a knife point. Clearly, NOT for children.

Not much to wrong here. Markings are all embossed, so they won't wear off. Can't break if you drop it. Color coded for each scale, and not expensive.

It is not of aluminum... It is made of cheap plastic...

Wasn't sure what to expect with this being aluminum...have had my old white plastic scale for over 30yrs and was worried this was just going to have the numbers/increments only painted on. They are engraved w/ paint. Very happy with the quality. Now, I just rec'd it today but I would recommend this scale over the ones you get as a 3 pack for $5 more...they are only painted on. The engraved increments makes a big difference when you are working with pencil or marker for accuracy and longevity.

Cheap for a reason, 3 of the ends were bent which interfered with the straightness and coloured lines not stuck properly. Returned.
