Windproof like they say. Feel a bit on the cheaper side regarding durability, but so far they've held up. Flame is not as pronounced as some other handheld windproof lighters I've seen, but overall, worth the price.

Was not happy with these I opened up 3 before one even worked and the flame is so weak it barely catches paper on fire.

Well, I have been sadly disappointed by these, as I have been with the other name brands. They must have changed something with these types of lighters. I cook on a charcoal grill nearly 5 times a week and I need a good lighter that is not impacted by wind. These are not it. The flame is nearly non-existent, and it blows out as soon as the wind hits it. Maybe one light out of twenty, the lighter actually acts as a torch (jet flame). I had to throw one away immediately upon arrival because it didn't even work from the start.I stopped purchasing these types of lighters and purchased a real torch. Yes, I recommend using a torch with camping propane bottles over these types of lighters. They continually receive bad reviews, regardless of the brand, which suggests it's probably due to some restriction in the production process. I didn't find anything Elite, windproof , or produced a Jet Flame with these lighters. Since I purchased so many at one time, it's not a fluke in just one. They barely light my candles. I don't recommend any windproof, jet flame lighters. I purchased every brand imaginable, they just don't do what they state. Nearly all the 1,2,3 star reviews are correct. This has nothing to do with the seller, just the product.

Its a great product. Keep one by the fireplace, one in the kitchen drawer, one in the garage. and another in with the camping gear. The dual purpose allows you to use the penlight to FIND the candles when the power goes out AND light them. I'm happy.

Nice features especially the ligh but 2 out of the 5 lighters were defective. Contacted the seller and they issued a refund. Questionable quality product but good customer service.

These lighters rock! Needed these for summer bbqs and they've been a hit. I got them in such a hurry that I didn't even notice that they have bottle openers attached! Big bonus, believe me. They work out.
