Living in the Southern US, allergies are a given. Carpet, being an infinite absorber of dust, dirt, and allergins is right out. (If you like it so much, why don't we have "Shag Counter Tops?")The alternative like wood, tile, stone, or some other hard surface, can be pretty unforgiving to feet in cold weather, unyielding to the occasional dropped glass or family heirloom, and even exacerbate arthritis pain in those suffering from it.The Bamboo Floor or Bath Mat is the perfect balance. My apartment has tile floors throughout. I love this for cleaning, but as my uncle the retired Marine told me, never stand on bare concrete (or stone). Get a sheet of newspaper or something, but get it between you and the life-draining cold.The floor coverings are made of slats of polished bamboo. These are stitched together on a slip-resistant backing. The whole thing is no more than about 3/8" thick, but that is enough to be a barrier to the cold and provide a slightly cushioned step.Inexpensive, easy to clean, and naturally sourced, these are a great addition to any home.

We placed both mats in the kitchen; one in front of the stove, the other in front of the sink. Both mats do move slightly when you shift your feet, but not enough to be a nuisance or dangerous.. They are low profile and don't snag your feet like the higher spongy type do. They are easier to wipe off.

Very good quality, attractive, and ez to wipe clean with a damp cloth.

They fit perfectly in front of both sinks. They look great and feel great under our feet. Well made. Very satisfied

We have one in our bathroom and another in our kitchen. There was no smell that I noticed when unpacking and they were in perfect condition. The mat on the bottom half allows for absorbency but also keeps it from sliding around a lot which I appreciate.

Even it was shipped by the seller, it arrived way ealier than expected delivery date. Very durable, I put it in the kitchen, keeping the floor dry and clean. Only thing is it's a little slippery on wooden floor. Maybe it would work better for other kind of floor
