Recently used this to protect outside split A/C unit during Super Typhoon Sinlaku (April 2026 affecting Marianas Islands). In the past I have lost outside aircon units due to wind and rain blowing directly on unit. After the storm had passsed, and power was restored, I removed the cover and the aircon was functional. Water and Wind resistance - top notch. "Typhoon Proven". Cover fit outside split A/C "like a glove" and provided top notch protection. Definitely worth the price to protect a rather expensive split A/C component. Cover was very easy to install and remove when no longer needed.

First off, I purchased this NGB Mini Split Cover for Air Conditioner Outdoor Unit, with my own money and my review is without any influence from the manufacturer or vendor, that said the product works very well, it was installed on a MrCool 18k mini split, and fit just right, with just a little play, which is what you want, the dust screens, cover the units intake and exhaust very well, all the straps allow for adjustment and fit, and the seemed are well build, all the stitching on the seams were good, so no issues so far, the access flaps allow you access to front vent, as well as the rear and side electrical doors, the cover has stood up to a few wind and rainstorms so far with no issue, the cover keeps the unit clean and dry with all the flaps closed, but DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT run the unit with the flaps closed, the front and rear flap MUST be open for the unit operate properly.

I gave this 5 stars because in the few short weeks I've had it there have been no problems with it. It fit very well, it looks good, easy to clean off when all the stuff that I am protecting my a/c unit from falls on it. It also appears that it won't dry rot or similar. I do believe however that it will be a one-season wonder and I will get another one for next year when the summer comes to an end.

The actual cover seems to be fine. The inexpensive plastic buckles on the strap broke after only a small amount of pressure when tightening. I replaced them with some extra that I already had. It was no big deal. I was hoping the cover would be a little thicker but it may work fine. My unit is on a toy hauler/camper so it’ll be pulled behind my truck. Only time and use will tell.

I had bought another cover for our split-AC compressors to keep the debris out and protect them over the winter here in the NE. It protected the compressor but, come spring, it was next to impossible to take off since it only had a tie-string on either side to keep it down. With all of the snow/ice/wind, the knot would either come loose or be much tighter. This cover has simple side release buckles on both sides with long straps that fit perfectly around the compressor (make sure to measure your compressor before hand to get a good fit). It was much easier to remove when we finally needed it in early summer this year. The openings for the compressor hoses work perfectly and the flap around the fan can be held up with another strap and buckle, which is perfect since the compressor for the units in our bedrooms are dual purpose (heating and cooling). The material is nice and thick so it has held up nicely to everything the past winter has thrown at it. I highly recommend these covers.

This cover could not fit more perfect! Took me about five minutes to put on and cinch the tie that comes with it. The Velcro in the back works perfectly to go around the electric lines. Will recommend this. Make sure you measure correctly.

Failed within a year. The straps are not UV safe. They literally disappeared in the last rain! The canvas is okay.

Very nice cover for our unit.... Makes it easy to use when AC is turned on, and protects it completely when not in use.😌

The last few years I have been using BBQ covers to cover my large A/C unit because I could not find a cover that fits properly, until I found this one. It fits perfectly! It also has adjustable velcro along one side if you need to adjust it a bit. So good I bought a second one and will just store it in my garage until I need a replacement. Thanks!
