First of all, Diane’s packaging is amazing. I’ve admired it at the Japanese grocery store but never purchased, the packaging is just so luxurious looking you know? I’m really happy with this spray, I almost didn’t order due to the emphasis on “hair fall.” What a lot of people don’t realize is that you can get hair loss from your pores getting gunked up with oils and other grossness, presumably the exfoliants in this help with that. More importantly, as someone with seborrheic dermatitis, this is the first scalp spray that has the consistency of a face spray and doesn’t make my roots feel oily and gross afterwards. I’ve gotten sprays from other brands that are supposed help with the itch, but after a few hours the extra oil just makes the problem worse. This stuff is awesome, it’s like a fancy skin product just for your scalp. The scent is very luxurious and the spraying mechanism is easy to use. I am a little worried that I’ll go through it too quickly since the bottle is on the smaller side and if you have thick hair you might need multiple sprays. But I might consider this a splurge item if it works for my scalp problems, the scent alone is worth the price tag.

I may not be the target audience for this product - Diane is a Japanese product, and I have enjoyed their shampoos/conditioners when traveling there. But I have fine, dense, mostly straight hair with a little bit of wave, rather than the thicker straight hair more common to the Japanese market. This claims to help with scalp health and oil/sebum production, which I do struggle with - my hair is greasy by day two or so without washing. I can't say that it has helped with that yet, but this product smells and feels nice to use and doesn't interfere with hair color or other hair products (if anything, it seems to help smooth my hair if frizzy). If you have issues with greasy hair, or want a product to help with scalp skin health, I would recommend trying this as a low-risk option.

Each morning, I wake to find roughly a dozen hairs scattered across my pillow. Brushing my hair leaves a noticeable 10 or so strand in the brush, and when I shampoo, it seems like at least 50 strands swirl down the drain (my husband called it the 20-legged spider when I collect it from the drain collector.) I’ve tried rosemary oil and OTC minoxidil, but they’re messy and too much hassle for me on a daily basis. The oil leaves my scalp greasy, and the foam makes my hair sticky, even though it’s supposed to only be applied to the scalp; it's nearly impossible to not get on my hair root and shaft. Moist Diane Extra Hair Fall Control Essence is clean, simple, and convenient. I spritz it onto my scalp after washing, when my hair’s almost dry, and massage it in a bit. It smells lovely a doesn’t leave any oily residue or buildup, and dries fast, so my hair just feels normal. I don't have to wash my hair right away cause it just dries and my hair feels clean and normal, like there's no other products on my head or weighing my hair down. I've also used It's a 10 Keratin and that causes build up on my scalp compared to Moist Diane. Also the nozzle is quite genius; it's small and easy to use when I part and spray on long hair versus the traditional nozzle. Besides the nozzle, the product size is quite small and I wish NatureLab offers more options larger than 50ml. I've used this for 2 weeks, I have noticed the amount of hair I shed is a bit less but not quite half. I’m really hopeful it’ll help my hair grow back and stop falling off the more I use this!

Update one month later: Hair loss goes through cycles, so maybe that may be it, BUT I have noticed less hair in my comb. The first picture is what I use to get in my comb on a light day; and the second one is what I recently got and there has been many days with less. It might not look like a lot, but think that is just a day and multiply it over a month - Wow, I am sold. ******************** I have color treated hair and lately, I am noticing more of my hair in the comb after I shower. I just started using this essence. After I towel dry my hair, I spray this essence onto my hair and rub it in. It has a lovely light scent and it doesn’t make my hair oily. Even if it doesn’t work, it feels and smells great, but with the science behind it, I am hopefully l will see less hair in my comb.

I like the ingredients in the hair fall out control shampoo. The hair spray has a hint of pomegranate and ginseng smell. I spray the product in my hair to reduce hair breakage. The bottle is 1.69fl once, the spray nozzle allow the product to spray freely on the scalp. After using the product in my hair my scalp wasn’t so itchy. Looking forward to seeing results.

I am really enjoying using Moist Diane Extra Hair Fall Control Essence on my scalp. It is like a skin care regime for my scalp. The light scent is marvelous, There is no oily residue and no irritation. The product is easy to apply using the spray pump. I have a problem with thinning hair and any hair loss is a crisis, not just a concern. I have not seen a discernible difference in the condition of my scalp or my hair; perhaps in the future after continued use. However, I enjoy the nice fresh feeling that I get after using Moist Diane Extra Hair Fall Control Essence … and then of course there is that nice scent. This product is made in Japan.
