I like everything about this bible! It has over 300 articles and it focuses on 24 spiritual practices! The Everyday Profiles are stories of women in the Bible who faced challenges that the everyday woman might face today! The Everyday reflections show how to apply God’s word to your own life. The everyday questions and answers pertain to faith.It has full color printing throughout the Bible and it can be used in a small group study.This bible definitely renews and reinvigorates the lives of everyday women.The NLT makes it easy to read and understand as well!For the price point, it is definitely affordable!

I LOVE this bible in the paperback edition but felt that it might not hold up with daily reading and note taking so I decided to buy a hard back edition. After about two weeks using the hard back edition for daily reading and note taking, a page came out. I was so disappointed and couldn't bring myself to put any more time in it. I ended up going back to the paperback edition and Love everything about it. I would only give 1 star for the hard back edition and a 5 star for the paperback.

I bought this Bible twice! I first bought it about 4 yrs ago and it has truly enriched my life. When I'm feeling lost or don't know where to start, I just go straight to the devotional section and ask for God for guidance and sure enough, I always receive a powerful word.When I bought this Bible, I was never really a bible reader and wanted to start spending more time getting real answers to real issues I was facing. The Bible had always been an archaic book for me until I got this version. The translation is perfect for new bible reader, Christian's etc. I was 22 when I got it and 4 yrs later, i don't feel like I've out grown this Bible.When my sister was looking to start her daily time with God, I bought for her as a gift and I know that it will greatly impact her life. The Bible itself is beautiful and colorful. The pages are vibrant and you can also highlight without it bleeding through too much.

This bible is beautiful. I love to read God's word from it. The pages are a bit thin, but that's standard these days. I haven't ripped a page though so they've held up pretty well. The words are black in print and also large enough for me to read well, and I have astigmatism. I really like the "everyday matters" articles in this bible because they speak to women in all walks of life. I previously had a women's bible that was clearly geared toward married women, women and I couldn't relate to some of the devotionals as I am not married. This bible doesn't do that and a women at any stage of her life would enjoy this bible and be able to relate to the devotionals/articles. It even explains how to use the bible and how you can use it for a study group. There is also an index of spiritual practices in the back of the bible that shows were to look for topics such as Acceptance, Faith, Confession, etc. I hope this bible is in print for a long time because when it starts to fall apart from use, I plan to buy another one!

The media could not be loaded. I am so happy that I purchased this bible- it is so pretty! I usually read my Bible in the app I have on my phone but now that I have this little gem I eagerly put my phone down so I can read my scripture choices in this Bible! I love that it gives the history of each book of the Bible- which is found at the start of each book. I can't wait to read the the stories and devotions by the contributors (One of my favs Priscilla Shirer is a contributor 😊). I also find that I am excited about reading the Bible and can't wait to pick this Bible up to read each day!

I purchased this bible for myself after the one i had and loved for many years finally fell apart. Right away i was drawn to how pretty the cover is. I also like all the features this bible has to offer. I enjoy that it's the New Living Translation, it makes understanding God's word and sharing it with others a little easier. This bible has a easy to use index of subjects, and 24 disciplines that give you some hands on wisdom in a multitude of subjects. The bible is hardcover and durable, another plus. The pages are not too thin, you can highlight the pages and it doesn't ruin what's on the other side. All in all this is a great bible and one i would recommend.

This is a beautiful women’s Bible. The practical encouragements are an wonderful bonus. I use this Bible along with my NLT Life Application Study Bible. I definitely recommend this one.

The NLT is by far my favorite translation of the Bible. I have several NLT study Bibles but I wanted a more “carry friendly” Bible as my study Bibles are heavy and bulky. This one is the perfect size for me. The font is large enough that I don’t have to wear reading glasses. There are some nice extra inserts that give you things to think about or offer some guidance and inspiration that goes along with the scripture. The binding is nice and tight, the paper is thin, but not too thin. I use pastel highlighters and haven’t had any problem with bleed through. My only gripe is that the book name, chapter and verse are in VERY light print on the upper side edge of the page. It is very hard to see. I don’t want to apply Bible tabs because I think they make it hard to thumb through the pages. Other than the light book, chapter, verse printing I love this Bible.

It's a nice Bible...my first NLT version, very. Easy to understand...liked it ..But one big disappointment...The pages are coming out..one by one...the binding is not good..:(By the time i realised this, the return window had closed...So had to keep it ..Other than that im enjoying reading this Bible...the everyday profiles and reflections are good too..

This is so much more modern than the traditional Holy Bible out there! It has different themes and highlights tips for woman (photo: Eve & acceptance of self) and Q&A for those people like me who like to think more deeply about its meaning. After having tried the Contemporary English Version and the traditional KJV version, I feel this is the best version for the modern female - that's just my opinion though. Each person is different & should try to borrow or read online different versions first to see which one "speaks" to them the most. I love the flowery designs on the paper. I used a dry highlighter to highlight the pages. I got a "used - very good" version - other than the front cover being creased, all the rest of the book was in mint condition. Praise to the Lord! Thank you for such a wonderful product!!

If you are looking for an in-depth study Bible then this is definitely not the one for you. It doesn't have extensive study notes, cross-references or a concordance. Having said that, I believe it does what it sets out to do. Written in the easy-to-read NLT version I found it works well as a devotional reading Bible at home; I will be using it for that purpose rather than as a Bible to take to church (it's a little bulky).I love the design of the Bible. It is beautifully presented with full colour throughout, which adds to the pleasure of reading it during my devotional time. The books of the Bible are located down the side of the page rather than at the top, but once I got used to it, I found it useful for flicking through the books of the Bible quite quickly. One drawback is that I usually like underlining and highlighting my Bible, but the pages are a little thinner than I would like.While I personally prefer the NKJV for studying the Bible, the everyday matters Bible for women, I think would be great for a new believer looking for an easy-to-read translation. It would also suit the mature Christian woman looking to ignite her personal devotional time, with an easy-to -read version of the Bible. The devotional articles based on 24 spiritual disciplines are written in a thought-provoking contemporary style, and are ideal for the busy woman of today. I would definitely recommend this Bible.

I love this Bible. Great stories written by other authors really help me to understand the scripture. I love that it's women-focused as much of the Bible is patriarchal. I love the feel of the pages. I love the bright pink ribbon bookmark. Looks beautiful on a shelf or on a table. I also love that it is NLT. My favorite translation makes for easier reading that I can stick with.

I really love this Bible and read it every day. The New Living Translation has such a warm, welcoming and pleasant reading experience attached to it, that ensures an enjoyable and relaxing, if not thought provoking read. The captions and insights from other Bible experts provide valuable analysis and a deeper insight into meanings of specific events, enabling the reader to think carefully about the messages contained within it in order to gain a deeper understanding. The book is also a pleasure visually and it is in an easy to follow format. Print is easy to read too (not too small like some l have seen).Highly recommended.
