It was especially helpful to have options for your power cords on the top, side, and bottom of the plug. Depending on where you stay, outlet placement varies widely and I found myself using all three of the plug options throughout my trip.

This 3-in-1 input device is supposedly designed in the USA and includes a limited lifetime warranty. It accepts standard North American 2 or 3 prong flat pin plugs and has dual USB ports that charge up to 2.4A. The size is ultra compact, measuring only 1.5 x 1.5 x 1.75 inches. It is awesome. It handles a max load rating of 10 to 15A at 250V. Just remember this is only a plug adapter, not a voltage converter.
