love this!
I wish I had found this a year ago when I was first starting nursing school! This book is very compact, so I can carry it around in my purse for easy review material anywhere. I love the plastic finish on the pages--I imagine they would wipe clean with dry erase markers, though I don't see myself using it like that for now.I would warn buyers not to label the sides of the book with permanent marker, because the edges of the pages wick the marker quite far into the page itself, obscuring the writing. I learned this the hard way. I wrote my name across the front, and it didn't hurt anything. Writing it down the sides too resulted in literally an hour of scrubbing each individual page with alcohol wipes. . .Otherwise, the quality is really great, and there is a LOT of information crammed into this little book. It'll be great for review, though I'm not sure how useful it would actually be for quick reference in a clinical setting because there is so much info. presented in so few pages with a few broad categories.

Excellent Tool for Nursing Students
I knew this pocket guide was going to be small enough to fit into my scrubs pocket, but I have to admit, I was a little thrown off by the small size AT FIRST. Perhaps it was because it was inside the shipping box, which was considerably bigger than the RNotes. But once I removed it from the box and I looked at the ENORMOUS amount of helpful and important information this little tool contained, I was in love immediately. I submersed myself in all the glorious information, undeniably delighted in my decision to purchase this book. As a Nursing Student, finding something as handy as this, with all the relevant information consolidated inside, is such rare find and a treat! I recommend this book for all the Nursing Students out there to supplement your growing Nursin Reference Library.... Enjoy!

Awesome
This is great for clinicals It has lab values, how to do an assessment, what to look for (s/s) on certain things, examples and descriptions of the popular diseases, pages where you can write in your assessment data (although I dont find this useful because the pages are through out the book so you would almost have to flog them). But they do have pages to make photo copies and have them when you get report from your nurse. OVERALL AWESOME, what every nursing student needs. I also would recommend the current version of Mediquick Drug cards for clinical too. they have yet to let me down.

Great for nurse at any level
I bought this pocket guide because it was on our recommended book list for nursing school. I didn't really think I needed it, but I bought it anyway. This guide has come in handy so many times! It's great to take with me to clinicals for school because I don't have to lug around my huge nursing book. It has every practical thing you need to know about assessments, EKG's, emergency situations, ect. My mom who has been a nurse for 30+ years likes to steal this from me and take it to work with her. Great little guide to have on the floor too.

The best pocket guide for nursing
This is a must have book. Of course as a qualified nurse you need to know almost everything on your own, but of course you may not to remember everything, that's why this book comes handy. You can find some basic nursing procedures, lab values, drugs for a big variety of diseases, interpretation of 12 lead ECG, emergency and trauma procedures, and more! :) This is the pocket guide that has the biggest variety of info so if you mean to buy only a book buy this.

Pretty satisfied
These have great information in them, but they are not pocket-sized! They are small in height and width, but these are thick. Definitely won't fit in my pockets, but they are handy and give me the information I need.

Excellent
I'm in my final semester of nursing school and this is very helpful especially preceptorship. I should have bought this when I started school. It points out the basic info you need to know, assessment skills, some high alert medications and many more. I also love that it has a nclex star next to some very important things you must know for the nclex exam. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it. I highly recommend this product

Great for nursing school!!
I have just finished my first semester of nursing school and am going into second semester. The RN Notes really helped me all throughout clinicals. It gives you a condensed version of everything you need to know. Whats also great is that it is waterproof!! I would highly recommend this for any nursing program. Before going in to assess your patient, give medications, etc. It gives you a quick overview of what you should do.
