TramexMRH3 Digital Moisture Meter by Tramex

I bought this in 2020 and only used it a handful of times. I put a new battery in recently (May 2024) and it won't power on with the power button. Rather the mode button now turns it on, but it won't properly cycle modes, and then turns off after a new seconds. For over $500 this is poorly made and its expected life span is horrid. If I was using this in a professional setting I would take serious pause before trusting Tramex products.

Fantastic meter, best in the industry for non-penetrating moisture meters and the response time on the Hygroi psychometric reading attachment is acceptable (displays RH%, Temp, Dew Point and GPP without needing to use a psychometric chart).Also has a penetrating moisture probe attachment available, the pins are a little larger than some of their competitors, but I prefer it for the sake of having everything integrated into one device.

It's OK the older model work better and had more products to choose from to scan

I’m not sure if their is new manufacturing for this product or what but we have bought 2 recently because they just quit working. Won’t even turn on. We’ve used these for years and didn’t have issues but the last few we have bought have broke after only 10 uses. We will no longer be relying on Tramex products because they have not been reliable and have cost us time and money. This product cost entirely too much to be breaking every 2 months and needing replacement.
