I really wanted to like this stand. I wanted something that could travel with me when I wasn't working in the office. I wanted something that would make typing on a laptop for extended periods more comfortable. I have a really nice stand in my office but it is a bit bulky so I liked this slim design. Shortly after I received it I realized this was not going to work for me for several reasons. 1) the pieces that hold your laptop on the stand at the bottom are poorly designed. They dig into your wrists as you type making it impossible to use your keyboard correctly. I had to purchase a separate wireless keyboard. 2) issue with these same pieces. They randomly pop off, I've almost lost them several times and finally this morning it popped off and I can not find one of them. This makes my computer lopsided and unsecure on the stand. I was willing to overlook the fact that the height wasn't adjustable but these other two design flaws make this completely not worth it for me and I wish I would have spent the extra money and gotten an identical stand to the one I have in my office.UPDATE: I will say that my original opinion stands true that this stand is not compatible with the way I type. As I stated above, I was able to fix it by adding a keyboard and mouse so I'm not actually using it to type on but just a stand. The customer service however was very good which is why I will increase the stars. They did send me a new stand since mine was broken and missing the bottom piece. If you just need something to hold your laptop at a workstation this would work with no issue.

I use this stand at the office, 8 hours a day, every business day for about the past 6 months. It's just as sturdy as the first day I used it. My boss asked me why I have it and I told him it takes pressure of my neck by lifting the display. He's so impressed that he might buy one for all of the team members. My coworkers always want to try it out and normally end up buying one or something similar because they can immediately feel the difference between looking down at the laptop screen and having it raised. It's a good product. Highly recommend and will buy again if this one every gets worn out.

I like it for what it is - a collapsible laptop stand. It is very compact when closed and holds my laptop fine when opened. My wife and teenage son do not like it. They find the flip-up anchors, on which the laptop rests, to be non-intuitive and awkwardly shaped. Consequently, I've ended up using the stand and they are happy to let me have it.

It does what it says and then some...Great stand, it is precisely what I wanted. Getting portability and rugged together in the same package is hard to do but that is what they’ve done here. From an engineering standpoint it is very cleverly designed with a scissor brace design making for a simple and solid mechanism for expanding the support arms. It folds up very elegantly and includes a handy bag which I just throw in my case with the laptop. I have a bigger laptop stand but it is no way portable or light. This one solves the need giving me something I can use at home, at the office or just on the go. I have bought their stuff before and have been happy with all of it. Great customer service too! Keep up the good work.

I bought this when I transitioned from desktop to laptop. I needed something that was more comfortable using the laptop keyboard and bring the display closer to eye level. This was perfect.My only issue is my laptop bottom is rounded so the shorter stops (correct size) will not hold the laptop but rides over the stops. The longer stops are more than adequate but uncomfortable on my wrists. I compensate with a strip of wood under the front of the laptop which brings the stops just to the right height. A minor adjustment.

This laptop stand has been the best thing to happen to me in a while! It has been a complete game changer in the way I look at my computer. Since it has elevated my screen, it has made it so much more comfortable to look at. It came packaged fantastically, with extra parts if needed for the grips that hold the laptop in place from sliding. I do like how it folds, it fits easily in my purse or laptop bag. I have used it on laptop's bigger than a Macbook, and it has still performed wonderfully.

It has helped me with my neck issues. No more looking down at the laptop. Good and ergonomic, the only issue is that it's not so sturdy so be careful not letting your laptop, iPad or book standing all day. It could be better the quality, but for the price is awesome!

I was a little nervous when I took it out of the package, because it looked a little flimsy. It felt sturdy in my hands however and is working quite well. Allows me to have my chair at a normal height so that the screen is at the proper height.
