If connecting with rg59 coax and they are plugged into a poe switch/injector. do i also need a 48v power supply for the unit?

An external power supply is NOT necessary for most applications as the power incoming from the PoE power source powers the unit. If your device does not supply sufficient power then an external PSU can be used.

Can this be used to add Ethernet connections to rooms in my home by using cheaper coax to go the distance?

Yes, this product gives you the ability to transmit PoE and Ethernet signals over coaxial cable.

What are the product dimensions?

Product dimensions of each unit are: 3.25 x 2.5 x 1".

Will it send upoe or poe+ to the endpoint if it requires 30w or 60w and if so is 4 pair poe required?

This device supports IEEE802.3af/at so can send up to 25.5W of power.
